Aegis's control

Aegis was seated on the throne, in the throne room.

He tapped his hand proudly on the throne. There was this hint of pride on her eyes.

The guard who he had sent to see his 'captives' had returned.

"Your majesty," he bowed.

"Yes, go straight to the point," he squinted his eyes.

"The..captives.. they are nowhere to be found.." he gulped.

"What do you mean? They were thrown in the duegons right?"

He nodded, "yes your majesty, but now we can not find them anymore."

Aegis banged on the throne, "how did they escape?! Who was keeping watch over them!"

He dropped his gaze, avoiding the fiery look in Aegis's eyes.

"I do not know your majesty," he gulped.

Aegis was boiling in rage.

He stood up and walked up to the guard. He was shaking in rage, "get out before I rip out your heart," he said coldly.

He ran out afraid of what might happen next.
