Chapter 341: Did I Recite the Spell Wrong?

No sooner had the words left my lips than Seow Seow's eyes rolled back and she collapsed unconscious, a turn of events that somewhat caught me off guard. What was going on here? The incantation had been effective before, a mere chant and point, and the unconscious would come to in an instant, yet today, that same gesture had sent an awake Seow Seow into unconsciousness.

I looked at Wang Duo, puzzled.

"Did you perhaps recite the incantation incorrectly?" Wang Duo said, the corner of his mouth twitching as he glanced at me.

"How could I possibly get it wrong? You must have heard me reciting the incantation just now. Wouldn't you have noticed any mistakes?" I recounted the incantation I had just uttered, which was definitely correct, and so I countered Wang Duo.

"I was too focused on Seow Seow, I wasn't paying attention to what you were saying. Why don't you try reciting it again?"

"Recite it once more? Is it really okay to use it twice within a short period?"
