By the time everyone reached the back courtyard entrance, it was already too late, because the cat had already leapt towards the corpse. Watching the wild cat, my heart almost leaped out of my chest as I silently prayed, Big brother, please don't make a sound, if you do, you'll cause us trouble.
It seemed as though the cat heard my prayer; when it stepped over the corpse, it screamed miserably as if its tail had been stepped on.
In an instant, the body lying on the ground moved and then stood up stiffly.
"My goodness, I must be seeing things. That guy actually came back to life," Old Donkey had probably never encountered such a situation before, and rubbed his eyes in disbelief when he saw the corpse stand up.
"Ah, it's like one disaster follows another. When we set out, I predicted some troubles on this journey, but this is just too much. We haven't even left this place, and now a Cat Startled Corpse has appeared," the master sighed softly, his face full of helplessness.
