Did he miss me?

I've been waiting here at the back of the building for almost 30 minutes now. It's so cold, and I think I'll freeze any moment from now if I stay any longer.

"You look like an abandoned kid." 

I froze when I felt a warm jacket on my shoulders, but what shocked me more was when I realized it was Antonio.

"What brings you here?" he asked.

"What brings you here?" I asked the same question to him. I should be the one asking him it.

"Are you meeting with your lover? Seriously? At school? How cheap!"

He's really getting on my nerves. "And so? What is it to you? Leave!"

"I don't take orders from anyone."

I was about to speak when he shushed me, signaling me to be quiet, and that's when I raised an eyebrow at him.

"Are you dumb? Someone's here," he whispered.

What he said suddenly made me nervous, so I just swallowed and clung to the jacket very tightly.

There was a person who suddenly appeared in front of us, and he was about to receive a punch from Antonio when he suddenly took his cap off. I don't know him, so I didn't have that much reaction, but Antonio seemed like he just saw a ghost.

"Uncle?"

"Anthon?"

"W-what? Do you two know each other?"

"Whoa! He's your lover? I didn't know you're into old guys." he said, as if judging me from head to toe. Well, I'll take that as an insult.

"Have you gone mad?/Are you insane?" the man and I said in chorus out of anger.

"Whoa! Chill you guys."

"Then, why are you here?" Antonio asked.

"I should be the one asking that, Anthon. Why are you here? Didn't tell me you two are dating?"

I just closed my eyes and clenched my fist. I was also stunned by the situation I am facing now. I can't argue with these two, I feel like I'm going crazy with both of them.

"Let's get straight to the point, will we? Who sent the letter?" 

"What letter?" Antonio seemed confused, so I immediately turned to the other one, raising my eyebrows and my hands crossed.

"Come on." He ordered.

Antonio and I looked at each other with both confusion in our eyes, and he just shrugged his shoulders at me. The guy, who is Antonio's uncle, led the way and we just followed him.

We arrived at a secret room at the back of the building, and you could not really easily notice it from afar. As we entered the room, it was not an old abandoned place, but rather a clean and well-maintained room.

Now that we are in a well-lit place, the face of the guy is clear enough for me, as if I met him somewhere, but I couldn't remember, I think he's also in his mid-50s.

"I'm sorry it took me a lot of courage to meet you, Keasu."

Oh! And he knows me too.

Antonio offered me a seat, so I sat there, and he sat beside me listening deeply to our conversation with his uncle.

"And let me introduce myself, I'm Luis... your grandfather's business partner--- well, a former business partner rather."

Antonio nodded as if his uncle was talking to him, so I just shook my head at him in disbelief.

"Are you the man who almost kidnapped me?" I went straight to the point.

Antonio swiftly shifted his head to me with his forehead furrowed. 

"I ordered one of my assistants and I think that we didn't understand each other. My only request to him is to bring you to me. I didn't expect that he would do it that way."

"Were you hurt, by any chance?" Antonio asked, so I shifted my gaze at him and gave him a cold look.

"Have you been this gossipy since you were young?" asked Uncle Luis.

He seemed annoyed, so he drifted away his look at me.

Yeah, that's what I thought.

"Since you are this straightforward, then I won't beat around the bush. I know something that might open up the case in your grandpa's incident."

Those words made me stop in astonishment.

"By incident, do you mean..."

"Yes, I believe it was an incident and not an accident."

I stopped up and could hardly swallow. I can feel the liquid lingering in my eyes. I clenched my fist and breathed.

"Tell me about it."

"I don't have much evidence, but I have a lead. I'll help you find hard evidence, but this will not go as smoothly as we think it is," he said while massaging his nape, then turned to Antonio. "I need you to be with Kaesu all the time, now that she entered this, many people will go after her, I believe we are after a powerful people who were able to hide and cover this kind of case, and they will go after Kaesu once they've realized that she's trying to open up the case of her grandfather."

"No need. I can protect myself." I immediately excused myself and went home.

It's too much for me but never enough to make me stop. They want me? Come get me, but I will make sure to have them first in my hands before they can even have me.

I heard a knock at my door and I knew it was Alex. Who else could it be this late?

As I opened the door, I was taken aback by who I saw.

"Canim? What are you doing here?" 

"You didn't come to our session." 

I was stunned when I realized that I had forgotten to train with him because of the sudden encounter and happenings earlier.

I cleared my throat. "And that's why you're here?"

My inner self is already smiling at the thought of him maybe missing me. I mean, what else could be the reason why he came here? I am sure the training was just a lousy excuse. Maybe he just wanted to see me.

"Nadia is moving so fast, she may be silent, but her crew is already in action."

"And?" My whole body was not in the mood because of what I had heard. Well, I must admit I was kind of delusional, but I am a girl. What do you expect me to think?

"And I need you to take action with me too..."

I was irritated and was about to slam the door in his face when he held my wrist, which prevented me from doing that.

"Please... I will return the favor to you when you need it too."
