Seemed to have gone crazy

Now Penny could only hope that Noah Nelson was not one of those losers who would start missing their old flames after the divorce.

Because if Mateo were to run into Ariana, it would be a death sentence for her. 

On the other side, as Ariana stepped out of the car on the familiar yet unfamiliar pavement of the Nelson manor, she turned her attention to Nicolai who was unusually quiet tonight. 

"Mister de Luca, is everything alright with you?" Ariana asked the man who was awfully stiff and cold. 

"I am fine," Nicolai answered without much thought as he glared at the three men who were eyeing Ariana with a knowing look in their eyes

He knew those fuck me eyes really well, having grown up with a bunch of dogs like men. 

The three men were scared silly by his glare, but that was not enough. Making three men scampers was nowhere enough when the woman next to him resembled the enchantress from the stories on witches and wizards.
