CHAPTER 41

''Hey man, it's Dom'' Dominic spoke into the receiver of his cell phone and the person on the other side let out a few coughs. Dominic assumed that whatever he was smoking had gone down the wrong way.

''Which Dom?" the person asked and took a long, loud drag of what he was smoking, ''I know a bunch of em''

''Umm... it's Dominic Johnson''

''Crazy Halo's brother?"

Dominic did not need to be reminded of his sister. ''Yeah. That one'' he replied quietly. The man had dubbed his sister crazy Halo after she tried to give him a life long concussion with a metal pipe a while back.

''Goddamn man, long time! how you been?" the man asked enthutiastically and Dominic knew that if they were before each other he would have clapped his shoulder like one would if they saw an old friend after years of no contact.

''I've been alright bro. How you been?'' Dominic asked.

''Man, I've been alright. Remember my girl Sally?'' he asked.
