Chapter 392: Establishing Relations in a Parallel Universe

Unlike the other Avengers, who were busy returning to Earth to enjoy a rare holiday, Tony and Pepper decided to use this time to explore the vast universe, opting for a unique space honeymoon.

As for the marriage license...

Tony decided to deal with that later, and Pepper had no objections, willing to go along with anything he suggested.

Thus, as a war hero, Tony, after a spirited debate, temporarily took control of the Heart of Iron spacecraft from the Guardians of the Galaxy and embarked on a romantic voyage through space.

Their routine became eating, sleeping, exploring the universe, collecting samples, and most importantly... working on the creation of Morgan Stark!

One day, while near the desolate region of Sakaar, Tony and Pepper were deeply discussing the creation of Morgan Stark when Tony suddenly discovered a huge mechanical humanoid in space.

Driven by curiosity, Tony moved the spacecraft closer and found that the giant mechanical body was lying motionless in the void, as if dead.

Leaving Pepper to wait on the Heart of Iron and ready to send a distress signal if necessary, Tony double-tapped his chest reactor to transform with the power of the Moon Prism and personally investigate the giant mechanical body.

Upon inspection...

Yep, it really was dead!

However, Tony was no longer the frivolous playboy of his youth. Now, he was a pessimist who always prepared for the worst, not letting his guard down just because the mechanical being seemed to be deactivated.

After all, it was a mechanical lifeform. Being a machine, it could restart at any moment with a simple "beep."

To prevent any mishap, Tony cautiously recorded a message that Eris transmitted back to the Avengers headquarters on Earth. Should anything go wrong, this "last message" would reach Clark immediately.

After making all necessary preparations, Tony then brought the giant mechanical body onto the Heart of Iron.

After two days and nights of research, Tony had gathered some fragmented information from this "machine," but with his current scientific knowledge, he could not fully interpret it. The more he researched, the more he realized how little he understood.

"Tony," Pepper said, wrapping her arms around him from behind with concern, "stop researching this thing, please. You haven't slept for seventy-two hours, and you're nearly fifty years old now!"

"Okay, darling," Tony turned around and embraced Pepper softly, "I promise to limit my research to just four hours a day, spend another four observing the universe, and the rest of the time with you. How about that?"

"You mean it? No fooling?"

"Of course."

As they continued their discussion about Morgan Stark on the huge mechanical humanoid, the universe of the X-Men saw Clark successfully refining the last of the Time and Reality Stones, significantly boosting his power.

Like Thanos needing all six Infinity Stones to snap his fingers in the original timeline, in the Marvel Universe, possessing all six stones is not as simple as five plus one or four plus two. It represents the difference between completeness and incompleteness.

Clark now effectively controlled all six Infinity Stones, able to erase and restore half of the universe's life with a mere thought. Moreover, his powers were now fully integrated with the stones, allowing him to manipulate them effortlessly and without any cost.

This was his own power, after all!

With his powers increased, Clark's abilities had significantly improved. Originally needing the Nidavellir forge and a week to craft the Celestial Swords, he now merely snapped his fingers to reforge these powerful weapons, enhancing their strength by a third.

With a thought, the six swords were placed atop six different sword towers scattered across the X-Men universe.

The Celestial Sword Array was complete!

Thus, the essence of the X-Men universe and the Marvel Universe were fully merged. They were neither the same universe nor two unrelated parallel universes but existed in a special relationship in between.

This situation led directly to a doubling of the foundations of both universes, increasing the chances of birthing geniuses and accommodating gods exponentially!

It was foreseeable that the number of superhumans would not only not decrease in the coming centuries but would experience an explosive increase.

Whether this was good or bad...

Well, that depends on human actions!

Handled properly, bad situations could turn good; otherwise, good situations might turn bad.

Thus, Clark was pleased with the increase in universal essence.

After a brief stay at Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters, where there were no dramatic confrontations, just friendly dialogue to foster understanding between the two superhero groups, Clark finally decided to say farewell and return to the cinematic universe's Earth.

Leading a group of mutant representatives, Professor X came to see Clark off.

Beside the pond at Xavier's School, Professor X reluctantly asked, "Mr. Clark, about the superhero movie featuring mutants you mentioned, which will be simultaneously released in both parallel universes, do you have a specific plan now?"

"That's easy, I've even written the screenplay already," Clark

casually responded. "Given the special circumstances of your world, I've focused the plot on mutant versus mutant conflicts. One side will be the heroic Xavier's School for Gifted Youngsters, and the other will be the radical Brotherhood of Mutants led by Magneto."

"Interspersing it with deep discussions on the conflicts between mutants and humans will make it easier for ordinary people to see the humanity in mutants..."

Magneto interjected, "Why am I the villain?"

Clark calmly turned to him and said matter-of-factly, "Because I don't like your face."

Magneto protested, "I object!"

"Objection overruled," Clark continued bluntly, "because you can't defeat me."

That hit hard, buddy!

Ignoring old Magneto, Clark turned to Professor X and asked, "Do you have any suggestions for the film's title?"

Caught off guard by the question, Professor X pondered for a moment before suggesting, "How about something simple and direct, like 'X man'?"

X man?

This was actually the original English title of the X-Men movie series that Clark had seen in his previous life. However, translated directly, it sounded like "X man," which could be misinterpreted in a different context.

Clark shook his head and decisively rejected the fitting yet inappropriate title, explaining his reasoning before proposing, "Given the mutants' attempts at peaceful coexistence with humans—a challenging endeavor that still persists—I think the movie title should reflect this spirit."

Professor X sincerely agreed with Clark's suggestion, "What do you think it should be called, Mr. Clark?"

"I'm planning to make this into a series. The first part will be called 'Mutants: Against All Odds.'"

"The subsequent parts could build on this and be titled 'Caught in the Middle' and 'Adding Insult to Injury.' What do you think, Charles?"

Professor X exclaimed, "That's a brilliant idea!"

As Professor X's most pressing concern was addressed, Beast Hank approached and asked, "Mr. Clark, could you elaborate on the virtual training program you mentioned? The one designed to open up and enhance understanding between mutants and ordinary people?"

Clark quickly shook his head, "Game development isn't a job for just one or two people. I can only help sketch a basic framework, integrating mutants, superhumans, and ordinary humans into the same game, allowing people to experience the lives and challenges of mutants and superhumans, and even gain their abilities within the game."

"This will require a level system and professional knowledge in game design, which we have plenty of talent for. This task can be handed over to Tony and his team to find people to develop it. I believe it won't take long before the game is ready."

After a brief pause, he added, "At that time, your team and our people can start with a trial play, with Cyclops as one of the internal testers, becoming the game's top player. Just like that..."

"And, I'm planning to adapt the TV series 'Game of Thrones' into a movie for the big screen. I'm thinking of inviting two of your X-Men to play significant roles."

"As for who... Jean and the girl codenamed Wolfsbane would be perfect, given their fitting demeanor..."
