Lucien led the group to the conference room, positioning himself across from Rosetta, with Lithira by his side and Gibson to his right. The two knights stood behind them, silent sentinels.

He had already informed his family that negotiations would begin without them. Lucien feared their tempers might escalate into a heated argument, potentially leading to conflict.

But still, they didn't 100% agree and ended up waiting outside the door.

"I apologize for bringing you to this humble place. As you can see, this holy land is impoverished due to the burdens imposed by the 'Lord,'" Lucien began the conversation, his expression reflecting a mix of sadness and subtle mockery.

Rosetta, recognizing the jab, simply nodded in understanding. "I understand. But this 'humble place' appears rather lavish compared to other dwellings in Euclair Village. I wonder why," she remarked, maintaining a friendly demeanor.
