Chapter 259 - Unforeseen Recognition

Seeing Talon and Mei looking so familiar with each other only made the tall man even more irritated. 

He felt completely ignored, even though he had been calling Mei's name repeatedly. 

He was an invited guest too, yet Mei seemed to be disregarding his presence entirely.

Frustrated, the tall man shoved the gift he was holding into the hands of the security guard. 

Then, he shouted at Mei again, this time louder. "Zhang Mei! Hey! Can't you hear me? Are you deaf?"

Mei's assistant, hearing the shout, immediately showed a look of annoyance. 

She quickly approached Mei and began whispering in her ear, while the actress, the star of the night, nodded gracefully as she listened.

"Maybe someone could escort him out?" Mei whispered back.

Mei put on a faint smile to mask her conversation with her assistant. 

Her eyes glanced briefly at the tall man who was still trying to break through the security barrier.
