"Quick, quick, quick! He's still breathing! Stop the bleeding from the wound immediately!"
Stark was the first to rush over, but stopped just a second before his armored arm touched Shiller. He asked, "JARVIS, what on earth is going on? What did you discuss with Shiller?"
"The course of events," JARVIS responded calmly, "My logic program determined that Doctor Shiller didn't have the strength to handle another multifaceted narration and treatment. Therefore, I told him what happened directly. Before I left, his mental state was fairly stable."
"You call this mental stability??" Stark looked at Shiller, who had collapsed on the couch, and questioned, "How much alcohol has he been drinking? Wait, what's this drug? JARVIS, scan this for me…"
"The main ingredient is morphine, sir. Doctor Shiller uses it to manage his migraines. From a preliminary analysis, it appears he's ingested about 230 times the appropriate dosage…"
"Quick, quick! Make him throw up!!!" Stark immediately tried to help Shiller, but was stopped by Strange, who told him, "You might tear his wound which could damage his arteries and vocal cords, don't touch him …"
"You're a doctor, aren't you?! Think of something!" Stark shouted at Strange, "Isn't there something we could use to neutralize the painkiller he ingested?"
"I..." Strange paused, feeling rather helpless. "I'm a surgeon and it's been many years since I studied pharmacology. I can't... I can't prescribe anything; it could be fatal!"
At that moment, Steve stepped forward, first gently pulling away the arm with which Shiller was digging into his own wound. He then placed a pad behind Shiller's back so that his chest and neck were aligned to facilitate his breathing.
Next, he forced open Shiller's eyelids to examine his pupils before commenting, "Thankfully his physical constitution is different from the average person. He's just slightly overdosed, like someone who's taken too many uppers. His body should eventually metabolize it…"
Just then, like he had only just understood the situation, Strange stepped forward and said, "Wait, let's first deal with the external injury. Let me think... No, the medical facilities here aren't sufficient. We need to get him to a hospital."
Matt immediately pulled out his cell phone and said, "I will call an ambulance. Peter, there should be a first aid kit in the clinic. Start treating the wound and stop the bleeding for now. The ambulance will be here soon."
By the time Matt finished speaking, Peter had already rushed upstairs. He quickly pulled a first aid kit from under Shiller's bed and began to treat the injury on Shiller's neck. However, the moment he touched the wound's edge, Shiller murmured something and subconsciously tried to touch the wound again."
Peter had to use one hand to hold Shiller's arm down. But Shiller had two arms and Peter only had two hands; it was like plugging one hole only for another to appear. Eventually, Stark couldn't stand it any longer and helped Peter restrain Shiller, allowing him to treat the wound."
Shiller, who had overdosed on painkillers, was currently almost unconscious yet was still surprisingly resistant."
Stark suddenly heard a creaking noise. He gritted his teeth and said: "How the hell is he so strong?!... Steve! Steve! Are you just going to stand there?!""
Just as Steve approached to lend a hand, "swoosh," Shiller was gone, only to reappear next to the dining table. Strange, standing nearby, was taken aback. He then remembered and said, "Oh, right, he can teleport... wait, spatial consolidation!"
He extended one hand and a golden light radiated from it. Golden rays spread out and attached to the clinic's walls, freezing the space contained within."
However, "swoosh," Shiller disappeared again, this time reappearing on the stairs leading to the second floor. Steve lunged forward and pinned Shiller."
The next second, there was a crashing sound from downstairs as Shiller emerged hanging from one of the windows, shards of glass cutting him and covering him in blood."
Very much at his wit's end, Stark rushed over, flew up and caught Shiller, then exclaimed, "I wonder who it was that assured me his teleportation wouldn't get stuck in the wall!""
As soon as he finished speaking, Shiller disappeared again, this time appearing right back on the couch, knocking Peter, who was in the process of reorganizing the first aid kit, over."
Peter gathered his wits, shook his head, and said, "Doctor Shiller has mentioned that his teleportation has a limited number of uses, a maximum of about a dozen times or so. Just ensure he doesn't come into contact with anything dangerous."
"Can't you see? He himself is the greatest danger!" Stark yelled.
The next second, Strange let out a sudden cry as a falling chandelier and the teleporting Shiller appearing in the chandelier knocked him to the ground."
Now lying on the ground, Strange had had enough. He stretched out a hand, applied the Time Gem, and in an instant, everyone was back in their original places. Strange immediately pinned Shiller and announced to everyone, "Shiller can teleport randomly! Everyone, be prepared!""
Seeing the usually unflappable Strange now bedraggled, those who had been relocated by time realized that he must have used the Time Gem to predict the forthcoming chaos."
