Alexis sighed and rolled her eyes at her mother's antics. She left the living room, and Yvonne was about to follow her. However, Alexis's mother grabbed Yvonne's hand, preventing her from leaving.
"You are trying to get my children to hate me, right?" she accused.
Yvonne calmly removed Alexis's mother's hand from hers.
"Hate you? I think you are mistaken. Your actions are what have distanced your children from you. Besides, both you and I know why Logan, your son, left the house and rented his own place." Yvonne stated bluntly.
Yvonne continued, "So, I don't understand why you blamed me for what you did."
Alexis's mother chuckled, a cynical smile playing on her lips.
"Yvonne, ever since you came to this house, you have made a mess of things," she retorted.
