Secrets of Cromwell City (1)

Chris had the worst nightmare since he had returned to the past. He had nightmares before but that was after he lost his sister but those almost disappeared once he returned back in time. A few times he had nightmares that he never returned to the past and all that was a dream created by his dying self.

He would only calm himself after seeing that everything was fine. Since most of his sleep time was spent in the game, he has hadn't a dream either in a long time. Now something ominous appeared in his dream. He felt dread the moment his dream started.

His mind didn't properly register it at that time because of the dread, but now back in his room, when he analyzed the dream, he didn't dread everything. The ball that emitted the light, he felt connected to it somehow. The feeling that the ball gave was warm, unlike the dread feeling that was all around.
