Recovering

*Bam!* 

Clovis was slammed to the ground, causing him to roll a few times. The frog leaped into the air, planning to crush Clovis with its giant body. 

As soon as Jay landed on the ground, he rushed to Clovis's side and swung his saber as hard as possible. 

To his surprise, his blade couldn't penetrate the frog's skin because of a sticky liquid that coated the entire body. It even made his swing slide down the frog's body. 

In the end, Jay used his entire body weight to deflect the frog's trajectory, barely avoiding Clovis. 

Kanaria was pointing her rifle at these beasts, but she hadn't shot yet, not wanting to reveal her location. In addition, due to the commotion earlier, the beasts around the area had woken up.
