Preparing to intercept

Chi Cheng had engaged in small talk with Zhu Zhiying during their aerial tour around the outer rings of the Sky Region's Main Island.

However, he pulled back on the Sky Beast's reins to reduce its speed when something down below garnered his attention.

At the Feng Clan's main Estate below, where the stables for Sky Beasts were situated, a carriage bearing white and green colours lay in waiting. Marked with the Emperor's seal which was designed with a gold dragon breathing fire, a few of the Feng Clan's disciples hysterically prepared to depart.

They fussed with each other, barking orders to maintain meticulous handling of a preciously wrapped item which was to be escorted out of the Sky Region.

Turning around to meet Zhu Zhiying's gaze, Chi Cheng sought confirmation to perch the Sky Beast on one of the rooftops of a storage room further away from the stables.
