Welcoming Feast

Following into the late evening, a Welcoming Feast was prepared for the Palace Generals in the Han Clan's main estate to conclude the Honouring Ceremony.

After his bitter argument with the Grandmaster, Chi Cheng stormed off without awaiting a response from Han Xuelian. With a distraught mind and surging rage-filled heart, Chi Cheng didn't even remain to observe Huo Renyi's performance.

For the remaining duration of the Sword Dance, Chi Cheng was holed up sorrowfully in his room until he was summoned to join the Welcoming Feast.

Now seated beside his mother at the table that was reserved for the Palace Generals and Han Xuelian, Chi Cheng couldn't muster the appetite to partake in the delicacies served before him.
