Chapter 207: Akai Maou

Walking on the dirt road, a gentle breeze brushed past.
The white ribbon on the blonde girl's scarf fluttered lightly, like cattails on a riverbank swaying in the wind.

Seeing the two about to start arguing, Lumine and Sun Yu quickly pulled their respective sides back.

Nolan laughed heartily and said, "Haha, no worries at all, we didn't take it to heart."

In response, Little Que'er had no choice but to obediently return to her fishing.
Afterwards, The group then set up a campfire, burning some charcoal to prepare for grilling the fish. Nolan and Lumine took out some pre-prepared boiled water and dried food.

"Wow, this red fish looks fierce, and it also looks delicious. Nolan, why don't you shoot it with your bow?" Paimon, flying in mid-air, blinked and suggested.
"That's no problem," Nolan nodded. Using his Golden Eye of Judgement, he observed that the fish was at level twelve, seemingly stronger than an untrained ordinary person.

Paimon had wanted to argue but thought better of it. Eating was more important.
She turned to Sun Yu and said, "Quick, pull it up. Otherwise, the blood in the fish meat will dry up, and it won't taste good."
"Alright."
Just as Sun Yu nodded and prepared to lift the Akai Maou up to the surface of the river with his junior sister,
A huge black figure suddenly leaped from the river, splashing water on the clothes of the people near the riverbank. It opened its huge mouth and snapped the fishing line, swallowing the Akai Maou whole.
Then, it sank back into the river and swiftly swam upstream.
