Choose To Remain Silent

After 3 days of vacation time, William returned to work. He drove to the Black Clover headquarters in his car.

On the way, he took the time to buy coffee at his regular cafe. While waiting for his order, he saw a man he recognized in the cafe. A gray-haired man who was sitting with a woman. That man was Thompson.

Even when he was supposed to be at the headquarters, he still had time to be alone with a woman.

"Here's your coffee, William. It's been a while since you came here, how's your wife?" asked the female barista.

"She's fine, next time maybe I'll bring her here," William replied kindly.

The café was where he and Amanda always spent time drinking coffee together besides going to the bar. That's why the barista knew Amanda so well because she had worked there for so long.

"I'm glad that if she still remembers me. She really liked ordering potato salad, I remember it very well," she said.
