Chapter 185 : Teaching Wandless Magic 4

The entire class was divided into two sections at this point.

One was those who still didn't understand the importance of what Orion just said and the other side was currently gawking at Orion with there mouths open. 

If what Orion said was just a theory then they wouldn't have shown this kind of reaction but Orion just showed them a life example here. 

Almost everyone knows what Neville is capable of, for a third-year student to even lift a person with his magic for a long is hard let alone an entire section of the class. And this wasn't even Rose, the so-called girl show lived, this was Neville. 

So they knew that they were dealing with the real deal here, Neville afterall did something which even Professor Snape had a hard time doing.

"Give me that Ring." Snape all but snatched it from Neville and he wasn't the only one, Orion could see several eyeballs lock on that ring. A smirk appears on Orion's face. 

'This is the best way to launch a product, word of mouth promotion works all the time,' Orion thought with a smile on his face. 

[Are you really going to bring that ring in the market, is that even a good idea ?] Merlin asked with a sigh.

Orion knew what Merlin was thinking about, apparently, the origin of these rings took place when they both were looking for a way to let other people use magic without a wand. 

Wanting to create a product which can enable a generation of wizards to learn wandless magic, the only problem is that although the ring can do that, it will make the wizarding crowd then depend on the ring instead of wands. 

'Don't worry, although I still haven't perfected them yet but later I plan to make rings with a training system on them. The ring themselves will slowly lose their effect making students and other wizards learn wandless magic as the ring loses its effects.' Orion replies with a smirk.

He had it figured out, currently, the rings only do one thing, amplify one intent. He planned to make rings which lose their effect slowly as much as they are getting used. It's like a cycle with side wheels. As time goes on and more the ring is used, the ring will lose its effects just like how a cycle will lose its side wheel upon a kid learns how to ride the cycle. 

[Well I see where you going with it] Merlin nodded. What Merlin wanted to do was a more active approach to this. Like how he taught Wandless magic to Orion. 

Just snatch their wands and let them go wild.

Unfortunately, not everyone is Orion and Merlin is too grunted at this. Orion approach in fact had more merit than his simple and crude idea. 

While Orion was chatting with Merlin. Snape took the focus ring, or at least that's what Orion heard other students calling it, good thing becuase he himself still now had no name assigned to the ring and Merlin wouldn't let him until Orion came up with something decent. 

Ring of Waraba, Cosmic Ring, Rangila Ring, Elden Ring, Elder Ring, The One Ring... were some of the names he came up with... Yeah, Merlin wouldn't let him name the ring any of that. 

Anyway, now equipped with the focus ring, Snape tries to do the same as earlier. And to his and others' surprise, Snape was able to life everyone in the class with the furniture alongside them. Making everyone once again gobsmack. 

This not only drew some gasps from other professors let alone students but now the majority of students and professors were looking at Orion, trying to find out whether he was all this time wearing a ring like that.

On seeing what they were thinking Orion just rolled his eyes.

"No, if you are wondering whether I am hiding a ring like that somewhere on me to do those cool wandless magic and show off then no. 

I don't need that. And in fact, that ring is never meant to be used alongside a wand or replace a wand in the first place. 

I made them so others can learn how to intent-based wandless magic. To do that of course one must train their intent and that is where that ring shines. 

Some people might say that the ring can instantly make them stronger with use along side a wand. And I agree but that is only temporary. 

A normal wizard or witch is already capable of doing what you guys are thinking of accomplishing without the help of objects like wands and rings. 

The only thing is that we never learn how to use our full potential and we are never able to achieve that level. In an ideal world, you should not even need a wand, let alone a ring which amplifies your intent. 

You should be able to do that on your own. Like how I did it here. No Wand or a Ring to help me. 

In fact here is an interesting thing about me, I have developed my wandless magic and intent to such a level that a normal wand won't make it stronger just like how it does for you, that ring I make...

That too is useless but I already have mastered my intent enough that I don't need to amplify it any more.

The fact that any of you are seeing yourself getting magically stronger or more capable when you use wands or rings like I created means that you guys are not using 100% of your potential. Its like you are limiting yourself to only using 60% to 80% of your power." Orion said with much confidence in his voice making others feel in a daze.

Usually, no one will think about this, why should they? The entire wizarding world is currently using magic with wands and spells. 

But now that they saw what a mage with full access of his magic is capable of, there are mental conflicts.

Many of them kept quiet, thinking about what just Orion show them and taught them. 

Are they really wasting their time using these wands? Orion did explain in his book that although is very easy to do magic with wands but its comes at a price, and that price is under develop magic circuits.

Magical circuits detemines once control over magic. 

Have they destroyed their magic circuits by using wands. ?

This were the question's right now rising in there hearts. 

Just when they were thinking about this, a voice suddenly interrupted them. 

"This is brilliant my boy," Dumbledore was the first to say this and break the silence but immediately close his mouth upon getting the usual stiff face from Orion which he used to get from him upon calling him 'My Boy,' 

"Huh hmmm," He cleared his throat and said.

"So is that ring of your's you plan to sell in the market," Dumbledore asked. Knowing that the boy won't say anything about intent base magic further or more importantly pure magic, something exactly Dumbledore wanted to know. 

Dumbledore asks the next big question. He could see how those rings becoming objects which can bring both development and destruction at the same time. 

If it really possible to learn wandless magic with those rings, in which Dumbledore actually doesn't doubt Orion, those rings are priceless. They will develop a generation of wizards who are not only inherently stronger but don't need a wand to use there magic. Its a good thing for the wizarding world.

The problem is that if those rings fell in the wrong hands, they can also become the source of mass destruction. Dumbledore is not an idiot, he saw how much stronger it made Snape. 

What if a truly dark wizard use them...

"Yeah, I will be doing that. Mainly targeting students. They have the highest chance to develop their magical circuits when they are growing up." Orion Chippin not knowing what Dumbledore was thinking and it honestly doesn't matter to him.

He clapped his hands and said. 

"Alright theory ends here and see we still have more than 20 minutes. Let's immediately start with practicals shall we." Orion said with a happy smile and snapped his fingers.

And once again to others' amazement, multiple cups filled with water flew towards both students and teachers. And upon closer inspection, they also notice that the cups are almost fully filled with a leaf floating on the water's surface. 

"I call this Leaf Moving Excercise. It's quite simple. All you have to do is try to move that leaf around the cup with the specific instruction I stated in my book when someone uses wandless magic for the first time.

Let's go," Orion ordered.
