"So what do you need his favor for?" Elysia asked with a pout on her face. Her eyes, full of dissatisfaction, glared at Noah, waiting for an explanation.

"That… I don't know…. I just wanted to help the poor little girl, so I just made up an excuse to annoy the guy," Noah chuckled out loud. "It's fun to annoy that guy."

"Hump!" Elysia narrowed her eyes as if trying to see through something. After a couple of seconds, she snorted and flew away from Noah.

Seeing Elysia's back disappearing into the distance, Xin Yan suddenly turned towards Noah and stared at him with a suspicious glare.

"What?!"

"Helping a poor little girl?..." Xin Yan narrowed her eyes dangerously before taking a step forward, looking deep into Noah's eyes. "What a load of crap. I know when you are being benevolent and when you are scheming."

Noah did not say anything and just stared straight into Xin Yan's eyes with a smile.
