In a corner of the rear courtyard, Qin Yi had been waiting for a while. Seeing Su Pan'er emerge, the two quickly converged and quietly left the backyard.

Once outside the mansion, Qin Yi removed his mask, breathing a sigh of relief.

"Phew! Who would have thought that a simple chief clerk's house would be harder to break into than the county government office. What happened? I heard a commotion from your side," he asked.

"Nothing much, just that someone discovered something was wrong with those three dogs."

Su Paner pulled down her mask and frequently looked back.

"What happened?" Qin Yi was surprised!

He remembered when Su Pan'er had prepared these three meatballs, something she had mentioned.

The meatballs were made specifically for dogs, and after consumption, it disrupts their keen sense of smell and hearing, causing the dogs to react slowly.
