In the New World

"I don't know our submarine can teleport from North Blue to New World." Yamato checked the machine of the submarine.

"It does. As long as the teleport waypoint exists then we can teleport anytime we want."

"Wow. How does this thing work? I can't imagine the logic behind it."

"Indeed, I also don't know too. But I want you to sit at combat seat right now cause a big guy coming for us." I shouted at Yamato.

The submarine was running at maximum speed to cut the chase from the sea monster.

I used the gaps between rocks to hide away from the sea monster.

"This is so interesting." 

"No. It's not. We going to die." I could see the big mouth behind the submarine.

This was already the 13th time to meet the sea monster.

"I also wonder why you go so deep. I mean the deep sea is the home of sea monsters. I thought we were going to find Pure Gold. Not playing with sea monster" Yamato attacked back with a cannon on the ship

"That is because I want to find a sea monster named Bonbori. He is a footballfish. If we want to find him, we have to go deep."

"Footballfish. Can that one be counted?" Yamato pointed at the endless darkness in the depths of the sea.

"Wait." I turned the ship light to illuminate the area that Yamato pointed at. "This is the one I am looking for."

I drove the ship closer to the sea monster.

"It's huge. And ugly."

"Okay. Parasiting plan." 

The ship attached to the body of the sea monster.

"Changing ammo." I controlled the terminal of the ship.

The cannon was replaced with an empty missile. I made my way to the storage to pick up the mobile teleport waypoint.

I put it inside the missile and made my way back to the control room.

"Alright. Do you want to see a glitch in real life."

"What is the glitch?"

"You will know soon." I pressed the button. The missile launched and stuck in his skin.

The mobile teleport waypoint was automatically opened by remote control.

"You see. The teleport waypoint is in the fish skin. What will happen when we use teleport? Can you guess?"

"I guess we will drown in the ocean."

"Ha ha ha. Close enough but no. The teleport waypoint is made to ensure our safety when using it." I explained.

"We can't live in his skin or in the sea. So it has to recalculate the nearest safe place for us."

"That means."

"That's right." I clicked the phone. Immediately, I was teleported away.

Yamato saw this and did the same as me.

When Yamato opened her eyes, she was already standing on the island. She looked to the sky but there was no sun on there but it still provided a light.

"I see. Where is Furina anyway?" her phone rang out. She received a call from Furina.

"What's wrong? Where are you?" Yamato asked.

"Ah. I meet a little wrong here. Do you see dinosaur's bone on acid liquid?" 

"Ah. I see you. I thought you could walk on water."

"I do but this is the acid. I don't want to get dissolved. By the way, Yamato. Go deep into the forest. You will find a person faking a baby dinosaur. Bring him to me."

"Okay." 

Suddenly, a roar rang out interfering with the conversation between her and Furina. A bunch of the alive dinosaurs charged at her from behind her back.

"Wow. So they are real." Yamato stood there to observe dinosaurs that were believed to have been extinct.

Just about a dinosaur opened its mouth to eat her. She drew her swords.

"Oden Two Sword style." In a flash of eyes, the dinosaur was hacked into 2 parts. Other dinosaurs saw this and fled away immediately.

"I wonder how delicious is dinosaur's meat." 

Yamato made a fire to cook. Not knowing that she subconsciously abandoned Furina on the bone of the dinosaur.

"Its meat has the most unique taste that I have ever tasted. Okay. Let's go and explore the forest."

Meanwhile

I tried to experiment with the sea of acid.

"Let's see. Hermit Crab. Can you endure this?" I dropped my water pet into acid sea. As a result, it launched into the sky by itself.

"I see. This is the death sentence for me. Should I teleport again?" I looked at my phone and wondered. When I looked around me, I realized that I shouldn't do it since there were many small places that were barely strong enough for my weight.

"I suppose I should wait for Yamato."

While waiting, I saw a lizard walking on the sea of acid from afar.

"Lizard. And a girl on its back."

Also meanwhile.

"I think I got lost." Yamato looked around and found that she had forgotten the path that she walked into.

Just as she was about to teleport again, a little dinosaur took her phone away.

"Hey. Give it back" she said but it ran away even faster.

"Damn it. How can it run faster than me?" she chased after it.

She chased until she reached their nest and found many small dinosaurs waiting for food from their mom.

"Hey. Give it back. I can't teleport without it."

A big shadow over-shaded her own shadow.

"Oh. Speaking of the devil. Your little kids are delicious and cute. Can I take one?" she talked to the dinosaur.

In response, the dinosaur roared at her.

"I see. We should solve it with jungle law." Yamato didn't draw her swords. "But it will be bad if those kids lose their mom."

Yamato used Conqueror Haki to make it passed out.

The dinosaur couldn't endure it and lost consciousness. Not only their mom, but all little dinosaurs also lost consciousness.

Yamato made her way to retrieve her phone back. She picked up her phone and was ready to teleport away.

Suddenly, she heard the grunting in human language. She looked at the source of sound and saw a very weird dinosaur.

"Wait. This is a costume." 

She took it off and saw the fat man inside it.

"I am so hungry."

Hearing him grunting how hungry he was, she gave him her food.

1 hour later.

"I didn't expect that I would see another human in this place. Tell me. How did you get inside Bonbori-sama? Must be your island was swallowed."

"No. We just teleport directly into his stomach."

"Teleport. Can you teleport out and take me with you?"

"I'm not sure. Let me ask my friend."

"Your friend. I am very excited to meet other people."

"What's wrong?" Yamato asked.

"Ah no. It's just some bad memory resurfaced."

When he was reminiscing his past, they already made their way towards the coast.

"You said your friend was stuck out there. Wait for me to search for more materials to build a ship."

"No need to do that." A big water bird flew on their head. "I am already escaping by myself."

"You can do that too."

"That's. My daughter."

A bird landed on the coast with a passed-out little girl and her lizard.

"Don't pretend you are unconscious. I know you are aware of your surroundings." I woke her up with a water gun in my hand.

" Alright. Alright." she pouted and averted eye contact.

She took a quick glance and saw her old man standing with them.

"Father."

"Right. It's me. Your father." her father opened her hands widely.

However, she avoided her father. This broke her father's heart.

"Ahem. There may be a misunderstanding between you guys." I decided to interfere since their conversation went wrong.

"Anyway. I assume you are the one who invented Pure Gold. Myskina Acier. I am right."

"Yes, I am. Are you after that?" Myskina Acier answered.

"Yes." I gave a straight answer.

"Then. I am afraid that I won't give you." Myskina Acier shook his head in denial.

"Okay. I respect your choice. Do you want to get out?" I said.

"What. You don't want Pure Gold." his daughter, Myskina Olga, exclaimed in surprise.

"I am not greedy for that Pure Gold too much. It's just that I am interested in the effect that it brings."

"What kind of that Pure Gold brings except pirate?"

"I believe besides attracting pirates. Pure Gold can delay the process of disease. Like you, Olga. You have a disease inside you. You said you have lived 200 years but the disease didn't flare up and grow as time passed." I nailed a final nail into the conversation.

"So, father. All the time." she looked at the ring that her old man gave. Her tears welled in her eyes.

Looking at them try to open their heart again after separating for too long, I couldn't wait so I spoke.

"By the way, I don't want to interfere with your reunion but your daughter's disease is not fatal. I don't understand why you guys react too much to this simple disease."

"What. It's incurable. South blue emperor fever. This disease can't be cured." Olga retorted in anger.

"Maybe in the past. It's curable now." I took out a book from Dimension pocket. "Here. You can search for the cure inside it. Do you want me to make it for you?"

Myskina Acier read every single line in the book. He couldn't stop his shaking hands.

"200 years. Didn't go to waste. Although it is late, can I ask who are you?"

"I am Furina. The actor, researcher, scientist, doctor, engineer, business, trader." I raised my hat as a part of the introduction. "Nice to meet you."

"I am Yamato. The future pirate king." Yamato introduced herself with a proud face.

When they knew Yamato was a pirate, they both stayed away from her a little bit.

"And why do you want Pure Gold?"

"Mainly to cure people. There was an unknown disease struck on the island making people suffering day after day."

"Disease. Is it dangerous?" he asked.

"It's very dangerous that the government exterminate any person who got this disease."

"It must be very dangerous that the government decides to kill citizens."

"That's right. I am working so hard to find the solution but no result was found. That is why I search the Pure Gold in order to find an answer that can slow the disease." I wiped my fake tear with a handkerchief. "As a doctor, looking at them suffering is unacceptable for me."

"Furina" Yamato wanted to ask. Medic had already found a cure. Why Furina say that?

"Yamato. I understand what are you thinking but we can't force him to hand over Pure Gold. Let's go home for now. Maybe I have an answer for this." I stepped off the bird and started building a teleport waypoint.

The stone formed into a gate. A purple circle appeared. They could see the other side of the gate.

"Do you want to go with us or not?" I asked them. 

"Disease. I understand your struggle. You can have my research." Myskina Acier said.

"We do."

"Yes. I don't want my research to fall into a bad guy. Maybe giving it to you is the right choice. Come. I will lead you to my lab." he offered to lead the way to his lab.

"I thought that is your core research."

"I don't want it anymore. It will be wasted if it's forgotten."

He jumped on the bird. 

"Let's sign the contract first. We are a righteous business, not some pirate."

I gave him the contract and the pen. He signed it without hesitation.

"Okay. I respect your choice. Let's go Yamato. For a treasure" the bird flew to the sky after packing all 4 people.
