Paranormal Plants

The group hurried to the Symbol of Mondstat's Hero and ended up meeting Venti along the way who was running to them in a hurry, "Oh there you are!" He exclaimed in relief, but froze when Sibley pointed a lens at him and looked through it, "Alright the spirit is not inside you, what's going on?" She asked in a hurry knowing he just arrived from the interested zone, "I don't know! All of a sudden the tree started moving!" Venti exclaimed in a panic, "Are you sure the Dendro Archon isn't pulling a prank on you?" Paimon asked feeling doubtful, "No, I'm not even sure a new one has been chosen yet." Venti replied in the negative, "It's a spirit, it's my job to deal with it." Sibley reassured him, "Do you need help?" Aether offered, "That would be nice, thank you." She accepted as she started walking to the tree.

When they got close enough to see the tree, it was crawling along the ground with it's roots, "That's the scariest thing I've ever seen!" The pixie exclaimed in shock at the scene, "That's it, that has to be it." Sibley nodded with wide eyes, "Maybe we should get Amber, Pyro might be useful." Aether suggested, "Good idea, I'll keep an eye on it, you go get her." Sibley instructed as she formed a chainsaw just in case.

15 minutes later.

"We're back!" Paimon exclaimed as they aproached the area where the tree was, only to find Sibley tied up with roots, "Yeah, not a little earlier?" Sibley lamented from her very uncomfortable predicament, "Also, didn't you say you would get Amber?" She asked seeing that Amber is nowhere to be found and that there's a child instead, "We asked Jean where she went, and she told us she was too busy to help, but then she asked Klee her to help, and I'm pretty sure she can do a better job." Aether reassured, "Yes! I promised miss Jean I would do my best!" Klee exclaimed with a smile.

Occupation: Unofficial Knight of Favonious.

Element: Pyro.

Sibley smiled at the child, "Love your enthusiasm! Think you can get me out of here?" She asked hoping for a yes, what she didn't expect is Klee pulling out a tome and using it to create a laser that made the roots explode, "There we go!" Klee stated looking very proud of herself, "You'll definetly be of great help with this." Sibley said as she got up, "Where did the tree go?" Paimon asked prompting Sibley to look at the map and then pointing in the direction, "Over there!" She exclaimed taking off running along with the others.

After a good two minutes they reached the tree, surrounded by a whole forest, "Oh! Oh no!" Sibley said in a worried tone, "You don't think the spirit is controlling this whole forest do you?" Aether asked, "I hope not..." Sibley replied as she formed the lens and looked through it, seeing that the spirit is only in the Hero's Symbol, "Seems like we're lucky, now, Klee! Do your thing!" Sibley instructed, prompting Klee to throw a bunch of bombs around the forest, much to Sibley's shock, "Maybe we should have warned you..." paimon said sheepishly, "Maybe or yes?" Sibley sarcastically asked.

When Klee finished throwing bombs, the forest was more or less destroyed, with the possessed tree still standing, "That thing is much thougher than it looks..." Aether commented looking at the incredibly sturdy tree, "I'll prepare a trap for the spirit, then we should... Do something..." Sibley dubiously said that, "That felt really unsure..." Klee commented, "Yeah... Do you know what we should do?" Aether questioned, "I need to extract the spirit, but it might be a little difficult when it's moving..." Sibley pointed the issue out, "You don't want us to distract it while you do your thing do you?" Paimon asked worried of the response.

The only response Paimon got is a shrug and a shake of the head, "It would still be moving too much." Sibley replied, "What if you restrained it?" Aether suggested, "That might work, but it will need distractions in that case too, are you ready?" Sibley asked the three- Two, Paimon flew far away, "I'm ready!" Klee exclaimed cheerfully pulling out Jumpy Dumpty, "Better get started." Aether said pulling out his sword, "Perfect! You'll be able to understand when the plan succeded." Sibley informed as she motioned for them to go ahead.

Klee started by tossing Jumpy Dumpty at the tree, exploding with each bounce and catching it's attention, the tree tried grabbing it with it's roots, but only managed to get them blown clean off, and the explosions also caused the surrounding area to catch on fire, "Perfect!" Aether thought as he went to the fire and caught it in a Wind Blade and ran it against the tree's trunk, causing the points it touched to catch on fire.

Due to he fire, the tree immediatly started shaking to extinquish it, but now that it was busy with that, Klee started blasting away at it, "Bang! Bang! BANG!!" She cheered at each explosion, which even caused the tree to be toppled over to it's side, thinking it was over for a moment, Aether lowered his guard, "Huh... Guesss we didn't need the-" He stopped talking the moment the tree started rolling at him, "Nevermind!" He yelped as he just barely managed to move out of the way, causing the tree to run into a rocky wall which it embedded it's roots into to get straight up again.

"You know? Among all the things I thought I would be fighting, a tree wasn't one of them!" Aether lamented as he got in a fighting positin again, "This just like in fairy tales! Only more sparky!" Klee cheered as she readied two Jumpy Dumpties and tossed them at the tree, but instead of trying to catch them, this time it made a wall with it's roots to block the explosion. The moment of the impact, the root wall was destroyed, but the tree was still fine, but at that exact moment, Sibley walked up from behind Aether and Klee and stood in front of them.

Seeing as the situation wasn't defused, Aether tried pulling her back, but Sibley stopped him and motioned for him to look. The tree started charging at Sibley, and right before it could run straight into her, a bunch of harpoons shot from around and pinned the tree in place with heavy chains, "Maybe I should have explained the plan a little more." Sibley realized as she notice Aether looked as if he saw a ghost, "I thought you were getting us run over!!" He lamented making Klee flinch a little, "Sorry Klee, didn't mean to scare you..." Aether apologized before turning back to the struggling tree, "What now?" He asked.

In response, Sibley formed a claw connected to the Freedom Matrix by a string, thrusting it foward launched it like the bear trap used against Signora, but this time, It only clamped onto the spirit and a forceful pull, it ripped the spirit out of the tree and into the Freedom Matrix, "There we go, one less to worry about." Sibley stated as she checked the Matrix.

2. Name: Maviglo.

Spirit Type: Chaotic Poltergeist.

Information: This Poltergeist was a menace even in life, using plants to cause problems for everyone else, only fitting he possessed one in death.

"That was awesome!" Klee exclaimed at the sight of the spirit being captured, "You're incredible Onee-San!" Klee complimented while clinging to Sibley's pants, the latter looking a little panicked, "Are you okay?" Paimon who finally stopped hiding asked, "I don't know how to behave with kids..." Sibley admitted, "I guess everyone has their own social awkwardness..." Aether said while rubbing the back of his head before remembering, "Oh yeah! Jean told us to bring Klee backto the HQ when we were done here..." He said outloud disappointing Klee a little, "Don't worry! If something like this happens again you'll be the first I call." Sibley reassured the little elven girl causing her to smile.

After bringing Klee back to the HQ.

Walking back out of Mondstat, Aether felt his stomach rumble a little, "Right we were about to eat before the spirit problem." He remembered, "We skipped lunch!?" Paimon lamented, "Don't worry, I'll cook, you two go rest." Sibley told the two, "Are you sure? You already did a whole lot today." Ather asked to be sure it was really okay, "It's fine really! Besides, I wanted to try using the ingredients of this world to cook." Sibley said in confirmation as she formed a tent and a few cooking stations, "Well, if you say so... I guess we'll go rest for now." Aether told the SpiritCatcher who gave a thumbs up in reply.

Looking at the two enter the tent to rest up, Sibley turned to the cooking stations she made, "Four stoves should be enough for what I want to make." She muttered to herself as she took two potatoes from the Matrix's storage and put them in the pot with water before boiling them, "Maybe I can make some oil with these." Sibley muttered as she saw that she had some flower seeds in the storage, "Better try it out" She thought to herself as she began forming machines.

After the Meal is Ready.

"I may have overdone it..." Sibley thought outloud looking at the table she formed to put all the food she made on, "Wait, you've already finished?" Paimon asked peeking from the tent having heard Sibley say that, "Yeah, come over so I can give you your plates." Sibley told them, making them come out of the tent, and handed them their portions, "I tried making some foods from my world, not sure how it turned out." Sibley warned, pointing to the plates she gave them containing french fries drizzled with ketchup and onion rings, while she put bolognese pasta in other plates.

Aether looked confused at the dishes, "These seem particular for Teyvat." Arther commented, "Yeah Paimon's never seen anything like this..." His companion added, "Don't worry I assure you it's really good." Sibley promised as she enjoyed her own portions, seeing this convinced Aether and Paimon to try their own, and they were a little overwhelmed at how different it was, "Is this oil? Where did you get oil?" Aether asked in surprise, "This is incredible! The taste is like nothing else!" Paimon said as she kept eating her food, "I made oil thanks to some seeds I had in the storage, I was also able to make a sauce using something that slime over there slobbered me with." Sibley pointed to a hydro slime in the distance.

Seeing as to how unusual the ingredients were Aethere found himself compelled to ask "And this is all food from your world? You eat stuff with this much flavor all the time?", the question made Sibley smile, "There are some foods that make you question some stuff, this is pretty simple, but yeah, most of it is like this." Sibley confirmed as she finished her portion.

Paimon and Aether finished theirs soon after, with Paimon taking a digestive nap, "Your world sounds very weird, full of incredible stuf, but weird." Aether complimented, "It's nice if you lookover the bad stuff, which is most of it." Sibley admitted before the Freedom Matrix started beeping, "Again!?" Sibley exclaimed in annoyance as she tapped the screen to view what was up, but instead of a spirit alert, she got a prompt, "Would you like to begin the map tutorial?" It said outloud.

Aether and Sibley looked at the screen in confusion and then at eachother, "Uhh... Yes?" Sibley said unsure, "Alrighty! The lesson will start tomorrow when you wake up! Good Night!" The Matrix said before turning off the screen on it's own, "I was not expecting that." Sibley told Aether who is still just as confused.
