The Outnumbered Advantage

Barry hit her by activating his Enhanced Strength skill coupled with his Gravity Manipulation technique, making the damage he inflicted on the shield increase several times than it should.

Because he used 3 skills at once, Barry decided to deactivate his Stealth, making his body visible again.

The Magic Shield that protected the female healer was destroyed. Not only that, Barry's bat also hit the woman's stomach hard. Making her let out a painful groan.

She fell on the ground, holding her bleeding stomach.

Barry had raised his bat and was preparing to hit the woman. However, he hesitated when he saw her face which looked in pain.

Frank and the other two could only stare with wide eyes. They had never seen anyone who could break Frank's Magic Shield.

The three remaining people froze in shock and fear seeing Barry's figure who looked like a seasoned warrior with everything he had done.

Elaine, who was looking at her place, was lost for words. She already knows that Barry is strong but she can't help but once again feel amazed by him.

"Why are you just standing! Kill him!" Frank shouted after he managed to come back from his trance-like condition.

Frank's shout also made Barry aware. In a world that has become like this he cannot be lenient.

These people, if he lets them live, they will only come back with revenge when Barry is at his most vulnerable state or in the most unexpected situations.

Or, they will only cause trouble for others. These people will not stop doing what they do. Even if he spare their lives.

So, Barry gritted his teeth, tightened his grip on his bat. Then, swinging it as hard as possible on the woman's head.

*CRAAATT!*

With a swing that had been enhanced with Enhanced Strength, Barry crushed the woman's head in one swing. Making parts of her skull and brain scatter around her lifeless body.

A white crystal rolled out of her body. Barry picked it up and put it in his pocket.

"Who's next?" Barry looked at the three remaining people with a cold expression. Even though in his heart he felt something was bothering him after killing the woman, but he ignored it. For now.

Frank turned to his two friends. "Let's get them together!"

Then, Frank ran towards Barry, his two friends following behind him.

Elaine who felt forgotten gritted her teeth. She started to step closer, but she felt so annoyed because she couldn't attack because the Magic Shield was still protecting them.

But Elaine is sure that soon the Magic Shield will be useless.

Elaine climbed towards the two-story building next to them. The three people's attention was focused on Barry, completely about to her.

The woman who uses a crossbow aims at Barry. But, once again Barry disappeared from their sight.

"Shit!" The woman cursed.

Frank stopped in place and looked around. He then opened part of his Magic Shield slightly to grab a handful of dust from the ground and threw it over the heads of his two friends.

"There he is!"

The dust stopped when it hit Barry's body, making him visible for a few moments. Frank took the opportunity to attack.

He threw his bat because he couldn't reach Barry. Barry who was caught off-guard was hit by the bat quite hard and flew several meters to his side with his body still under the use of Gravity Manipulation.

His Stealth becomes undone.

Barry hit a lamp post so hard then fell to the ground slowly. His back hurt.

Frank started grinning after his attack hit Barry. "H-Haha! Now, that I know your trick, you're no longer a threat! Vero!"

The woman also grinned when she found Barry had been attacked. She aimed her crossbow again.

*BLARRR!*

However, a lightning attack fell on her from above. The upper part of the Magic Shield was exposed, causing the lightning to hit her head.

The woman collapsed with her head completely roasted.

"Did you just forgot me?!" Elaine shouted from the top of the two-story building she had climbed earlier. Her hand still gave off a little bit of crackle of lightning.

"Shit!" Frank cursed, regretting his stupidity.

On the other hand, Barry laughed. They can now truly overwhelm those people.

"Wh-what should we do now, Frank???"

Frank was silent when the only person remaining from his friend asked him. His mind froze again. How could he be defeated by just these two people even though they had a clear advantage at the start.

"We run," Frank said. He turned around then dashed in another direction.

*BLARRR!*

Another strike of lightning came hitting the man's head. Frank turned around, finding the figure of his only friend who was still alive fallen in the same condition. With a burned head.

"You're not going anywhere!" Elaine said. Her smile looked like the grin of a death goddess from up there to Frank's eyes.

Frank, who is already stricken with fear, doesn't care about anything other than his own life. He just wanted to run from here.

But, he froze when he found Barry's figure had disappeared from where he had been.

And then, he felt it. A feeling of dread that seemed to be gnawing at his body from behind. His Magic Power run out, his Magic Shield gone. 

Frank felt something stick to the back of his head. He can't see it but now Barry's figure begins to materialize with a gun pressed against Frank's head.

"P-P-Please, forgive me. I-"

"Your skills are pretty good," Barry said. "I'll make good use of it."

That was the last sentence Frank heard, said in a pleased tone, before Barry blew his consciousness out of the back of his head.
