Volume 1 Chapter 11

Kakashi didn't know for which crime Kami has been punishing him. Then he snorted at his own unintentional joke. He had done many crimes over his years of life as a shinobi. He has first killed when he wasn't even five.

The mission has gone wrong from the start. Uzumaki Naruko was not against the team work. So as long as she is left alone by his teammates, she does a very good team work. She even lowers her strength during team training sessions.

So after a month and half he deemed their team work acceptable. But that wasn't actually the case. Naruko was never freinds with anyone else. Even he couldn't change that attitude of her's. He just hoped that he could show their team work as an excuse to buy more time for her.

So he accepted the mission. But that was clearly a mistake. The bad feeling started after they sat for the dinner. He remembered checking for poisons by smell. But there was none. But even after that he didn't ate very fast. But with a few bites, of tempura, he started to feel dizzy. He noticed it with others too. He has gained resistance to many types of minor poisons during his days in Anbu. So even his body was paralysed, he could move his eyes and all his sense were working.

He saw Sasuke and Naruko were awake. He has seen Sasuke not eating dinner as he was entangled by his two fangirls. But Naruko has eaten and still standing.

'kyuubi ?'

He had doubts.

Then their attackers arrived.

He couldn't see Sasuke fight from his position but he could here him attacking first. Naruko appeared and quickly finished her attacker. If he had to give her a threat level then he will give her atleast a jonin level threat. And that's with just her current show of skills. He doesn't even know the full extent of her powers. Hokage has been frustrated about it. But couldn't doo anything that might create a volatile condition.

After a few moments Narko came in and summoned a large pitch black coloured bat.

He didn't know when she got summons. But he will ask about it later. She won't answer if felt offended. So he would wait till they get back to the village.

After half an hour, he finally managed to move. He eyed the bat hanging above them. His gleaming red eyes staring at him. Non of them spoke anything.

About an hour later Sakura woke up. Due to her dieting and eating less. When she noticed the large bat, she screeched. The bat look annoyed.

"It's just Naruko's summoned animal Sakura, don't scream please. And now that you are awake, guard them. I will go and collect some information."

It was still eight thirty. So he easily went to the mayor. He had requested the mission. But somehow bandits caught wind of it and kidnapped some children from the village.

It seemed that his village has been threatened. By a lunatic serial killer named Raizo.

By the time he got back, Naruko and Sasuke had arrived with another man with broken legs. Ino's interrogation methods didn't worked. So before he can take over, Naruko took over the interrogation.

He winced at the thought of it.

After they got their information on Raizo and his rituals, they decided to continue the mission.

When the morning came, he asked Naruko to lead the way. Her first summon 'Kuro' could talk. Maybe she trained with her summons like master Jiraya. He wanted to uncover her secrets. This time they were led by another giant bat. But a little smaller than the previous one.

After they reached in the cave they found only dead bodies. Asuma conforted the genins. After that they went deeper to investigate.

And when they reached in the main chamber, hell broke loose.

The first sign was attack on Sasuke. But Naruko saved him. He opened his Sharingan to see a figure approaching very fast behind Naruko with a odd weapon. He could barely follow his moves. Before he could even move his body, she was pierced through her chest. His words died down in his throat. His body froze. It was hell for him to see another of his comrades die. This time it was his sensei's only child.

"Well well well....I never thought I would meet another demon here !"

What's the monster talking about his mind couldn't resister. He finally got a good look at the monster a skeleton with horns. Definitely a monster.

"Jashin..." Naruko spoke in a calm manner. He couldn't understand what was happening infront of him.

Then Naruko removed herself from the weapon and with a fliker of her hand, she threw the monster to the cave wall at a high speed. He saw her floating infront of them. There was a deep hole where should her heart was supposed to be. Black blood flowing out from her wounds.

He heard Asuma asking him something. But he couldn't undrstood.

"Wow ! Argh ! Wow ! What power !" The monster recovered instantly and came out of the rubble

"I wander what a powerful demon like you is doing inbetween humans....oh ! Kyuubi too ! Wanderful ! You might be the strongest demon I have ever come across !"

Hearing his words my confusion grew.

"Na-naruko, what's he talking about ?"

I asked her hesitantly. Afraid of her answers.

"I am a demon created by the humans of the leaf ." She replied calmly while looking at Jashin.

Then she flew towards him with a speed that his Sharingan couldn't follow.

Most of them have fallen unconscious due to the killing intent. He has naver faced such an intent that Jashin was applying. Only Asuma and Kakashi were concious. The roof of the cave they were in got blown away by Naruko. They were at the foot of the mountain inside a barrier. He couldn't even do his summoning jutsu.

There was nothing to do but to see the fight. Asuma has long been fallen scilence. He was just staring ahead.

Jashin could control blood. He was controlling blood from the dead bodies making various weapons with them. He was even disorienting Naruko's movement some how landing blows. She had destroyed his body countless times now. But he was getting back up instantly. As the fight continued Naruko got wounded. She even lost her arm. Jashin was much slower than Naruko and less powerful. But his regeneration was formidable. He could see Naruko healing. But it was much slower. So despite having much firepower, she was loosing.

He finally saw her lifting half of the mountains to burry jashin inside. After that she came near the barrier. Instead of doing anything with them, she created another barrier. Inside of it he took out a scroll.

Then she sealed her own body inside. He watched an ethereal form of a more matured Naruko escaped. He couldn't understand anything.

So for next hour, they tried to get out of the barrier and to get the scroll. But couldn't succeed.

Finally after an our, Jashin came out of the mountain.

Just when he came infront of them he started cursing Naruko.

But then it happened. A golden meteor fell on him.

*Boom*

As the dust cleared, he saw a young woman of short stature. She had golden blonde hair and blue eyes. Three pairs of golden bat like wings with black claws sprouting behind her back.

Black and golden lightning crackling around her.

Then he felt such a pressure that he almost lost his conciousness.
