{Lianna}
Later, the night enveloped the dorm room in a hushed atmosphere, the soft glow of the moonlight slipping through the window curtains.
Lianna and Enverna lay side by side, the covers drawn up to their shoulders. Lianna could hear the TV on in the living room, suggesting Zura was still awake.
The room harbored a slight tension, though Lianna couldn't tell why.
Enverna's gaze was fixed on the ceiling. After a moment, she took a deep breath, turning to face Lianna.
"Lianna, there's something I need to tell you," Enverna began, her voice soft but tinged with the gravity of her revelation.
Lianna turned her attention to Enverna, concern etching her features.
"What is it?"
"My family wants me to come back to Garriden," Enverna admitted, her eyes flickering with a mix of frustration and sadness.
That... had not been what Lianna was expecting to hear.
"What?"
