Song Jian quickly arrived at the tomb in the center of the depression. Though it was called a tomb, it actually looked more like a small mound of earth less than three meters tall. A half-remaining stele stood in front of the mound, and the inscriptions on it were already blurred. If not for Song Jian's keen eyesight, it would have been impossible to discover this tomb.
Approaching the mound, one could vaguely see traces of bricks and stones peeking through the dirt. The black bricks and stones appeared somewhat dilapidated, their surfaces covered with fine cracks, yet they showed no larger holes. Clearly, this tomb had never been excavated since its construction, and it was considered relatively well preserved.
There was no possibility of searching for the tomb entrance now, as the savages had already charged into the depression, roaring and howling as they rushed toward the crowd.
