"Again with the 'but'?" Kenny Lin pouted, "Why do you always say half of what you mean, leaving us in suspense?"

Amalia retorted, "Anyone else would understand the situation with blue skin trees without me saying a word."

In other words, if you feel kept in suspense, it's not due to his words but because of your ignorance.

"Baby, that's too much!" Kenny Lin glared.

Amalia asked calmly, "Is it?"

Kenny Lin nodded firmly, as if proving his point, "Of course, it is."

Amalia responded with an "oh," saying, "That must be your misconception. I didn't say anything, but if you think so, there's nothing I can do."

Kenny Lin sighed, "Sharp-tongued. You are not who you used to be. You've changed."
