The Lunar Order (3)

"So... Basically you know that I'm strong and that's why you are surrendering to me?"

Still sitting on my human chair that had evolved to have a backrest and was for some reason much more comfortable.

'Why am I accepting this as is so easily?'

"Correct sir"

The large burly man who was called 'Boss' carrying a large axe was for some reason kneeling down to greet me.

Logic dictated that people of scary appearances usually had confidence and pride in themselves and thus didn't take kindly to people putting them underneath them.

That only got worse when they gained strength on top of that.

The only reasons that the gruff appearing people would be fine being underneath another is one thing and one thing only.

Strength.

Of which I had in abundance, but without visually checking my strength the man instead surrendered.

Although I was confident in my strength, seeing as how the guy effortlessly broke through a large chunk of stone wall with ease, he also had grounds to be confident about his strength.

And expressing my thoughts and confusions out loud.

The man replied earnestly.

"You wouldn't know it yet as you are from the surface..."

'What'

"But us people in the darker sides of life had already received information"

The guy looked around consciously for anyone that could eavesdrop on their conversation before standing up and going to my ear to whisper what was in his mind.

"The Lunar Order sends their regards"

Almost instantly after he said that, the man grabbed a dagger from underneath their cloak and tried to stab me.

The human chair of people did the same as instantly locked their limbs around me or collapsed underneath me to hinder my movements.

Of course I was half expecting this as Gangsters were usually unscrupulous so I reacted quickly.

I wasn't expecting the Lunar order to be involved however.

Moving my mind above the hot bar, I opened my Deadcells one to use my [Rampart] To protect my vitals quickly.

'Parry this!'

Swinging my shield at the moment the guy tried to stab at my vitals.

A white shockwave appeared as the dagger impacted the shield and sent all the guys surrounding me away with the shockwaves power.

Quickly balancing myself I equipped the spartan sandals immediately and kicked downwards.

Crushing the head of the unfortunate man, I was acutely aware of the feeling of flesh and bone and the sole of my foot, but I couldn't pay attention to it for I was held up by something gunning for my life.

Heads up, my eyes were instantly attracted to the large magic circle in the sky that was making a large ball of fire in it's center.

Changing weapons to the Bow, the arrows flew through the air as they were loosed from the strings and met their targets.

Five arrows pierced through the bodies of five unfortunate souls.

While the rest were blocked by the thugs either by using their comrades as shields without remorse, or hiding behind obstructions in the alleyway.

Not that those obstructions looked like they could act as defense anymore after my barrage.

Taking advantage of the brief lull in the fighting my eyes revolved in their sockets as they took in my surroundings and counted my enemies.

'Fourteen in total, eight in the back, six in the front, seven already beat before, rest are new, one dead'

Taking into account the guys whom I had beaten up and made my chairs were also included in the fourteen.

It was only given I would focus on them.

Moving my foot from the remains of someone's head, my arm moved through the air as the blue sigil glowed briefly on the back of my hand.

Ice shards manifested in the air carrying cold air off of their bodies, as the sharp ends flew quickly through the air to pierce the bodies in front of me.

Flicking my eyes around I grabbed the electric whip.

And with a flourish, the long electrical whip left it's handle and crackled against the ground as it scorched any near it.

Eyes flickering I counted my foes.

'Big boss guy still fine, four wounded, one dead'

Seeing the ice spike in the man's head elicited no response to me as I continued my run and struck the whip against the air.

The snap of the whip met it's target as the thugs screamed out in pain as the electric whip transferred it's powerful electrical energy through their bodies thus frying them from within.

Ignoring the two newly downed men, the boss moved forwards and picked up the wounded man besides him.

And without hesitation threw him.

Seeing the man fly through the air, to offset the inevitable collision.

I borrowed the laws of gravity and swung the long Light's bane in my hand and sliced the man in half.

Blood splattered on my face, but I didn't care.

Seeing the unfortunate end of his comrade, the other thug took no chances and turned to run.

Unfortunately the Boss had other plans.

"What are you doing!"

Bellowing loudly, the man struck with his axe and took off the man's head and sent it flying like a golf club hitting the ball.

"Deserters are to be punished!"

Pointing at the eight wounded behind me, the guy shouted with rage as he made his way to me.

"If you run and don't do your duty to the Lunar Order! Once I make it out of here Alive! I will find you and tear you apart!"

Slamming his fist on the ground and getting into a position reminiscent of a bull about to charge.

"Mark my words as the Angry Bull of Amurath!"

"GRAAAHH!!!"

Bellowing loudly, steam visibly exited his body as his muscles enlarged.

All traces of sanity disappeared from his eyes as they rolled up to the back of his head.

The man looked less human and more beast by now as copious amounts of steam left their body and they looked like a bull about to charge at the red flag.

Holding the axe in their hands and resting the growing axe on their shoulders as the muscles tore through the fabric like something the green man did.

He charged.

Arms reaching to the ground as he punched at it, leaving visible cracks in the ground, his legs propelled him forwards.

Cracks in the ground followed his every step as the bull of a man charged forwards.

Reaching me in a matter of seconds I had a few seconds to decide on what to do.

'Eight behind so no retreating'

5 Seconds.

'Jumping over the Angry man'

4 Seconds.

'His axe would split me in half'

3 Seconds.

'Walls on the side so no dodging'

2 Seconds.

'Rolling has a chance'

1 Second.

At the last second as the man started to bring his axe down and he reached right in front of my eyes I made a decision in that split second.

Jumping in the air to dodge the initial headbutt and charge I double jumped to dodge the outstretched hand trying to grab me.

Swinging my arm to dodge the flying axe aiming to slice me in half, ice shards struck the axe and slightly deviated the axe from it's pre arranged course.

Using the Shield of Cthulhu I charged through the air and into a nearby wall as the axe barely missed my flesh and instead nicked my foot.

Spinning me in the air I slammed into the wall back first.

Sinking into the brick wall while cracking it.

The man couldn't stop himself as he charged into the other eight people.

"Ack!"

Consciousness disappearing for a moment due to the pain I stuck to the brick wall.
