"Thank you" Accepting the card that she had given me.
I walked outside and was met with the funny sight to me, but a most probably awkward moment to them.
A group of soldiers in slightly worse for wear armor were trying to carry the double chests.
Alongside a group of men besides them straining their arms.
Although they had some success with the one from my arms, a miscalculation on my part.
They hadn't gotten that far.
So smiling I asked the one who told me to leave my things on the ground with amusement in my eyes.
"So! Sir..." Eyeing them up and down sweat fell down their face drawing a form of amusement from my face.
"May I ask... What-"
"Grab and scatter!" Suddenly interrupting my words I was subject to an awkward situation as they tried to open the chests.
"Yeah no" Running forwards I roundhouse kicked a man to the side before moving to grab one of the wooden weapons I used to spar with Amanda.
Don't underestimate their sharpness though as thanks to Terraria, all wooden items had an undeniable sharpness to them.
And before I could remember that fact, blood was spilled as I 'accidentally' ripped off a man's arm, a cry leaving from his lips.
"Oops"
Seeing their comrades arm go flying away I paused for a moment deliberating between helping the man recover his arm or go after the others.
That question was quickly answered when they made off with the chest filled with some of my weapons, slime and all my food which honestly is fine.
My ore chests were left behind though.
Smiling evilly I grabbed something from my inventory and threw it.
As the stone blocks stacked to 999 in my inventory left it they quickly reverted to their normal state.
Very heavy blocks of stone.
And let me tell you, when people see that you can throw very heavy pieces of stone that could be called boulders with ease.
They usually surrender quickly.
Which was quickly proven when most of them saw the giant clump of rocks slam in front of them.
I don't know why they were running away from the city to be honest.
Unless they left a stash outside the city.
Which honestly might be possible.
Turning around slowly to see where the rocks came from they saw me casually throwing up and down a rock of a similar size.
Smiling brightly they instantly span towards me, and fell knees down first before placing the chest in front of them.
"Hello sir, we are sorry for taking your esteemed ones things"
Bowing down and saying those words I raised an eyebrow and was set on saying something before being interrupted.
"Hey what's the big idea!"
It was the woman from before, who came out of the doorway holding a sword while being followed by an entourage of other soldiers.
And safe to say she was left flabbergasted by the sight in front of her.
And I'm pretty sure from a normal persons perspective that it was so.
But according to what Rina said, although in small amount, the people of this world sometimes had immense strength.
Superhuman basically.
But yeah.
The scene was... not normal.
A man was holding his stump of an arm as his actual arm had been found by some slimes and they were carrying it away
A slowly shortening line of people were watching the scene happen in front of them, the guards at the gate still doing their jobs... somehow.
Several men in worn out soldier armor that looks incredibly outdated, were kneeling in front of me.
And I was tossing up and down a boulder as if a small tennis ball.
Which honestly felt like it.
But surprisingly the woman didn't point her sword at me although the soldiers did with their spears.
Sheathing her blade she spoke "Look, Slade was it? I understand the situation right now but some explanation is needed"
"..." As the soldiers behind her wondered what the hell they were to do.
Before the woman shouted "Don't you dimwits understand! Go take care of them!"
Bursting into action they quickly moved forwards, retrieving the slightly burnt arm from the slimes and moving the injured man to a safer place.
The rest pointed their spears at the kneeling men in what I can now confidently say is outdated armor.
Turning around the woman with an eyepatch hesitated before sighing and gesturing to me.
"Come over here, you can take your things with you"
Smiling I grabbed my chests and wore them on my back before following her to the door
Preparing to explain she spoke first "Slade"
"Yes ma'am"
Turning around to look at me for a moment she shrugged her shoulders and continued.
"I admit I underestimated you, I didn't know that you were already a superhuman"
Looking at her bosom and patting it up and down while looking for something she asked me.
"Do you want to enlist in the knights corps?"
"Well..."
Perhaps seeing my hesitation she shook her head "I see that you are hesitant"
Finding a small sigil of swords crossed behind a helmet in her pockets, she held it in her hands she handed it to me.
"Here, if you find that the life of an adventurer isn't what you are cut out to be then bring this to the nearest guardhouse, they will show you to the Knight house"
Holding the silver sigil in my hands I smiled and placed it in my inventory.
Wide eyed she looked at me "Okay what...?"
Smiling cheekily I brought my finger to my mouth.
Shaking her head tiredly while holding her head like a mom she spoke "You know what? I feel like I shouldn't ask"
Chuckling she waved me on as the tired guard in front of the gates looked significantly more perkier than before.
"You can go through sir, I already saw that the captain has given you one of her sigils, No need to check through your baggage."
"Thanks..." Raising an eyebrow I chuckled "Well goodbye then"
Waving the guard away who breathed a silent breath of relief behind my back.
My eyes were drawn upwards to see the city that the girls were talking about.
And let me tell you.
It was an incredible sight for the me who has only seen the modern highlights of life and the incredibly ancient and abandoned ruins.
It was different from seeing the medieval times being reenacted by the modern people, because it was an actual event happening with an reenactment.
"Heh"
Chuckling my eyes took in the sights with an eager time as I stepped forwards into the city of Tinell.
'Now then, I wonder where the adventurer's guild will be'
