I nearly went deaf from all the dad jokes Johnny told me. His attempts to make me laugh were futile. Sadly. It was becoming annoying and I couldn't take it anymore.

'I am sick. I am tired of hearing the same joke over and over again. Can you please leave!' I gave him an infuriating look.

'Jeez. You should've said so. Staying here with you was a complete waste of my time. Can't you handle your fury responsibly?' Johnny scoffed.

'You're lucky I'm in this bed, kid.' I yell at his retreating figure.

Now, I'm all alone in the ward. Don't ask me where my parents are. The room's pretty boring coz there's nothing reasonable to watch on Tv. I reach for my phone on the bedside table and open my Instagram.
