A Mothers Anger/An All you can Eat Bayou Meal

Soon after Nelly returned with the house phone and handed it off to me, it was one of those cordless ones you could see being bought at a Target or Walmart electronics area nowadays.

"Ahh thank you Nelly I really needed this!" I said happily to see a phone in this situation as I take it from her.

"Don't mention it, but if you need us will be preparing for supper with Ma in the kitchen." She said before they both left me be to call my mom and tell her what is going on.

So I dialed moms number, luckily I remember it by heart instead of just having it only remembered on my phone, and after putting in the number the phone began to ring until finally someone picked up.

"Hello? May I ask who is calling?" I could hear my mother Lydia answer the phone.

"Mom? It's me Ash! Something bad happened!" I say quickly to get her attention as their was clear worry in my voice.

"Woah, slow down, relax and tell me what happened okay?" She said wanting to hear the story of what's going on.

And so I told her everything that has happened to lead up to this and how now I was hiding in the Bayou thanks to the help of a kind swamp folk I was able to find that finally led to me talking to her now.

"I see…. I have an idea what is happening but I need to pass this along to Karen as she would know what to do about this completely, but would you hand the phone over to the nice lady who is letting you stay in her home?" My mom asked me after hearing what I needed to say.

"Sure, sure, hang on a second." I said before I got up to approach the kitchen to see her stirring up a pot of what looks like Gumbo to me.

"Ma'am? My mother would like to talk to you if that's okay?" I say to her as she turns to face me.

"Oh alright, Nelly can you take over for me sweet girl?" She said as she handed the ladle over to Nelly before taking the phone from me.

"Just go sit down and relax, food will be ready soon enough." She said to me before taking the phone from me before going off to converse with my mother about things.

Hearing that I go and relax while I let the tv play as I wait for the food to be ready.

"Those Bitches! I'll fucking kill them for what they did to my baby girl!!!" A woman's screech could be heard as the sounds of furniture and expensive house decor were being thrown around and smashed from the woman's fury.

"Ariela please calm down!" Her wife Quinn shouted out before trying to hold back Ariela from her rage.

"How can I keep calm in a situation like this Huh?! They hurt our baby girl to get to us and at Karen with her boy as well! We have to get back at them for what they did!!!" Ariela shouted out absolutely furious with what's happened and isn't calming down in the slightest.

Though soon they heard a knock at the door to their living room before the servants let themselves in.

"Mistress Ariela, Lady Steele has called, she left a message for you to return to the company headquarters to talk about the situation in more detail along with Lady Karen as well." A maid said as she came in not bothering to care about the destroyed room as with the number of servants it won't even take an hour to replace the broken item and clean the room.

"Grrr! Fine! This definitely has something to do with the deal between Steele and Arcsons for something like this to happen! Prepare my car!" She yelled out to the Maid who just bowed before heading off to get that done.

"Honey it will be fine, even if the relationship between Ash and Stella is on the rocks I know he won't let anything happen to her unless he couldn't control the situation, him breaking them both out and carrying her for several miles to safety speaks that he cares for her, hopefully this will help change our daughter to be more understanding of his situation, right?" Quinn said as she rubbed Ariela's back as she was starting to finally calm down.

*Inhale Exhale* "I hope so, after this I don't care how many women he has in the future, so long as Stella is fine with it then it matters not what they do with their future…. I just hope they really do get together…." Ariela says with a sigh before she goes and grabs her coat before heading out to deal with this whole mess and get her baby girl home safely.

"Ash, the foods ready!" Nelly shouted out to me as everything was set for tonight's meal, which seemed to be a big one, though it's more because these girls just have large appetites.

"Great! I haven't had anything for hours and all that running made me starving for some good Louisiana food." I say as I get myself off the couch as I rub my belly as it growled with hunger.

"Well come take your pick, we got plenty of good food to eat tonight so just help yourself to whatever you want." She said as she waved me in as I entered the kitchen before grabbing myself a large plate and bowl with all the necessary utensils.

"Wow, you guys really cook up a lot." I was a bit surprised with the amount of food they have here, it's enough for a feast alone.

"Aww it's not that much really, this is only a bit bigger than our normal meals, and besides most of this we fish up and cook straight from the swamp, after cleanin it 'course." Nelly waves it off before letting get a good look of the spread.

A big pot of Gumbo, Jambalaya, Crawdads, Froglegs, A-Aligator?

"Wait why do you have alligator on the table?" I said genuinely surprised seeing that there.

"What? Aligator is good, and these are from normal gators, besides we're Crocs so it's not even close to what you think this is to us in the first place." Nelly easily brushed it off as she grabbed a slab of Aligator to eat along with all the other fixings.

"Huh…. Well okay, then I won't be polite." I say as I grab a bit of everything as I fill up my plate before going to the dining room as I joined up with everyone for dinner.

"Thanks for the food!"
