Only after helping them board the train did Xiao Qi drive home, while Chu Molin had purchased sleeper berths, thus, it wasn't crowded.

Chu Molin helped the children settle down on the lower bunks and asked Qin Xue to look after them whilst he gathered up their other luggage.

"Chu Molin, have you sent a telegram to my parents?" Qin Xue remembered he had mentioned he would send a telegram home.

"I have, don't worry." Chu Molin replied, sitting down and playing with blocks with Yu Chen and the two children, replying to Qin Xue's question.

"That's good, I wonder what their reaction would be when they find out we're coming home for New Year?" Qin Xue wondered out loud.

"What are your feelings?" Chu Molin asked Qin Xue.

"Excited, happy." Qin Xue responded without much thought.

"Then their feelings will be even more excited and more joyful than yours." After saying this, Chu Molin went back to playing with the children, picking up a building block and placing it on another one.
