I did not know whether to run after Demyan or face Wilhelm after everything he said. I was not surprised by his reaction although I just did not expect it.
Wilhelm's words were on replay in my mind as I sat there motionless. He had popped our bubble fast and just like a dam wall bursting, reality hit me faster than I could manage. I was frozen and so disappointed in myself that it had to take my best friend to make me see everything I had been ignoring.
"For how long has this been going on?" Simon sighed as he rested back in his seat.
"Almost two months," I answered.
"Shit," Wilhelm ran his hands down his face, "You haven't started acting as the official CEO and you've already dug a financial hole for yourself Ethan. A house and a car. You know that's ridiculous."
"I needed them," I frowned.
