Sophia had borne witness to Amelia's tactics; she had to rack her brains just to make a stand against her. If not, she would lose everything in a complete defeat.
At this moment, Sophia and Amelia presented two entirely different demeanor.
Sophia was doing her utmost to hide the truth, while Amelia, holding a teacup and leaning on the sofa, was looking at Sophia indifferently. She appeared as if she had everything under control at her fingertips.
A mere Sophia didn't deserve to trigger her disturbance.
"It's merely a bank transfer. What could it possibly prove?" Sophia defiantly denied her involvement.
Amelia lifted her cup to drink some tea, her gaze fell onto the cup, looking into it at the slightly turbid tea leaves, "A bank transfer is, indeed, nothing significant to others, but to me, it's proof."
"Perhaps I intended to transfer to someone else, and it was a mistake." countered Sophia.
