"Finally you've arrived, I have been waiting here since this morning," Jonah complained playfully.

"Sorry Jonah, we got caught up in sorting our own thing and lost track of time, but we are here now to do what needs cultivating," Li Jing explained. Senior Iris looked at Li Jing as if to say to her that she is being flirty with him.

"Let me know if you need anything, I shall be sticking around today so I won't be too far," Jonah told them.

"Ok Jonah," Li Jing smiled. Then she began to work the area with elegance. But senior Iris saw something had changed in her powers. It wasn't only stronger, but it also wasn't its usual blue/green hue, this time it had a slight red streak. It didn't seem to affect the cultivation as it looked normal.

Senior Iris had to keep a close eye on Li Jing, but she wasn't the only one, Jonah was watching her too. Suddenly, Iris found Jonah standing next to her.

"I'm sure it's nothing, but why is there a red streak in her cultivating?" Jonah asked, trying to hide the suspicions in his voice.

"I'm almost certain it's nothing as it doesn't seem to be affecting her cultivating, but I am keeping a close eye. You do not need to worry. I will be investigating this when we are back in our cultivation realm," Iris told him.

"Was that your way of telling me to leave it alone and everything would be fine?" Jonah asked.

"I wasn't trying to tell you anything of the kind, I was just saying how it is and what I will be doing to investigate it," Iris warned. "Li Jing, we need to leave now," Iris said hurriedly.

"There's no rush, is there," Jonah asked, worrying slightly.

"Yeah, what's wrong, Senior Iris?"

"I'm afraid I just remembered I had forgotten to do something that I'm meant to do. We need to go," Senior Iris insisted. Iris and Li Jing whisked away again and went to their secret place.

"Li Jing, did you know that your cultivating had a red streak?" Senior Iris had wasted no time and went straight to the point.

"I felt myself getting stronger, but I didn't really notice the colour of my cultivation hue. Is this a bad thing to have a red streak?" Li Jing asked.

"At the moment it's nothing serious, but the red streak only comes from people from the Demon realm. If it is then the Demon king will be able to sense that small power like it is his own. I think you better be careful how much you do from now on," Senior Iris cautioned.

"I promise I will be extra careful. Is there a way to cultivate a pill to hide from the Demon realm? Or is there a limit to how many one person can have at one time?" Li Jing asked, curiosity getting the better of her.

"There is a pill but your mother gave you the wrong one. My guess is that she could only give just one pill. This is why you had a good childhood. Your other senior sisters joined me to create a forcefield around you to hide you from the Demon realm, but as you grew stronger the forcefield has faded," Senior Iris explained.

"So is this forcefield still around me?" Li Jing asked, worried now.

"Yes but barely. In fact it has almost dissipated," Senior Iris told her.

"So we have to go to Elder Orchid to tell her what's going on so we can all prepare for what may be coming if I get found out," Li Jing suggested.

"You will get found there's no doubt about it. Elder Orchid was the closest to your mother so yes she will have to know so we can make arrangements, also we have to choose wisely when to go back to the Bird realm," Iris advised.

Just as they were about to go to Elder Orchid, there was a disturbance, two guys appeared out of nowhere and took Li Jing. Senior Iris tried to help but she had no choice but to flee directly to Elder Orchid.
