Ch. 168 - Ericka Van Helsing

"Woooohooo! Vacation baby!" Griffin cheered up while wearing a Hawaii t-shirt as he carried a briefcase.

The warm night light shining over then is giving him to the shivers.

"I can't believe Van Helsing would invite us here, right Jin?" While holding her straw hat on her head in place due to the windy nature around them, Mavis looked up at the Cruise Ship with amazement. She, along with Tigress, Elsa and Rapunzel were all wearing vacation outfits, mostly flower-patterned dresses.

As for Jin?

As a proud gentleman, he's carrying their luggage and briefcases containing their clothes and other necessities.

"Welcome, Count Dracula. It's nice to see you again!" A small looking old man stuck in a weird machine started rolling over them from the Cruise Ship.

"Abby! My friend!" Dracula greeted him back, although he felt weird why Abraham wanted to invite him over just to apologize but as someone who knows Abraham the longest, Dracula thought that Abraham had finally changed similar to other humans.

"...Stuck with the same old nickname eh?" Abraham gripped the lever on his side, while his eye was twitching a bit before he resumed to his normal self. He can't expose his plan now, he must be calm and endure it.

"I can't believe we're seeing each other again! Last time I saw you, you were taller than me and buffed." Dracula looked down on Abraham as he spoke, literally. Due to his tall stature and Abraham's small body attached inside a machine, Dracula might even have to crouch just to meet Abraham's eye level.

"Hahaha...Yeah, I remember those times." Although it can be seen that Abraham was smiling, if you look closely, you can see that his face is twitching and his fists are clenched.

'Endure it, Endure it.' Abraham used to practice a meditation breathing, so he used it to calm himself down.

Seeing Abraham's misery, Jin can't help but smirk and scoff at him.

As if hearing him scoff, Abraham turned his flimpsy head towards him and his eyes squinted.

'This is the monster from the video. If I didn't see his horns and wings in the video I would have thought that this monster is a human. I better be cautious of him.' Abraham might be knowledgeable and smart but that doesn't mean he knows everything. He still has his limits, so he doesn't know that Jin is a much more dangerous individual than Dracula who he still thinks is the strongest monster.

Seeing the look that Abraham is giving him, Jin resisted the urge to smack his bald head for giving him such a look

"How about we proceed inside now?" Oblivious to any of this, Dracula can't wait to get on the cruise ship and start the party.

"Oh yes. Please follow me." Abraham seemed to be awakened by his words and he quickly led them inside.

Everyone quickly followed, while looking everywhere in the cruise ship in amazement and surprise.

'Unfortunately, he hasn't brought every monster. But that's fine, once Dracula is dead. Everyone else will do too, just like a domino.' Abraham counted the numbers of the monsters before sighing in disappointment.

"Look here Mavy Wavy!" Dracula kept jumping around and showing his acrobatics while calling out to his daughter in order to impress her.

However looking at Mavis who was clearly looking at Jin with loving eyes instead, Dracula grumbled and decided to show something more awesome!

"Ohh~ lookie here!~ I'm balancing myself on the railings!~"

Dracula was about to call her again but he saw that Mavis was still too busy admiring whatever there is to admire on Jin's face.

"Drac. You're embarrassing us." Slapping herself on the forehead, Martha quickly approached him before pulling him down from the railings.

*Thud!*

"Everyone is watching us, thanks to you!" Martha whispered to Dracula's ears while smiling kindly to anyone who looked at them.

"Oh..." Dracula scratched the back of his head after realizing.

Meanwhile, back to Jin, he was just looking around, searching for something fun to do when he caught a glimpse of a tall woman with full white clothing standing on the cruise ship's balcony, looking down over them with an unknown look in her eyes. From the looks on her face, it seems like she was thinking about something related to them.

'I remember she Zinged with Dracula in the third movie of the franchise, right? I wonder if they would still Zing now that Martha is still alive and kicking. If they do, then Zing is indeed a bad thing to this world but if it did not work, then it's like tinder but on a supernatural level.

"Who's that lady? I don't like that look." Tigress also noticed her and remarked.

"I can't help but agree." Elsa nodded her head, she's usually not the one to judge someone so easily but after hanging out with them for almost a year by now, she has adapted to their personalities and she's now a changed person, not like her previous 'Wet-Behind-The-Ears' self.

"Who is she? She's quite pretty!" Out of the three of them who didn't like the woman at first look, Rapunzel was the only one whose opinion was different from them.

"She's Abraham Van Helsing's daughter, Ericka Van Helsing." Having the knowledge of the franchise, Jin obviously knew who she was just at a glance.

"Interesting..." Tigress squinted her eyes at Ericka who seemed to notice her gaze and quickly changed her expression to a kind look and waved at Tigress as if she wasn't looking at them with an unknown look earlier.

"Let's settle these things in our room first." Although Jin wasn't feeling anything while carrying these luggage, he still wanted his hands to be free and move around freely.

"Everything is falling according to my plan. Now, set sail to our destination! Or in other words, to their death!" Abraham cackled evilly while tapping his fingers against once another like a generic villain that will soon be defeated by the protagonist.

Ericka who was beside him, nodded her head before walking towards the cockpit to start the ship.

Back on the deck, everyone started dancing and partying once the music came in. Several waitresses also came in and served them. These agents were secretly trained agents hired by Abraham who has become the U.S president.

"This is so much fun!" Mavis was jumping around, right in front of Jin, as if wanting to get his attention all the time.

Thankfully, although Jin's women have noticed this behaviour, they didn't mind it as all of them have gone through the same, they also wanted to get Jin's attention back then when their relationship was just starting.

As for Jin?

What else could he do but smile and play along with Mavis. There's no harm to it anyway.

A few hours passed and almost every monster in the cruise ship had either passed out due to alcohol or some other unknown reason, except for a few monsters who either have a strong constitution or didn't drink the alcohol that is delivered to them earlier.

"Do monsters really have a weak tolerance against alcohol?" Jin shook his head at this embarrassing sight. Thankfully, he seems to have gained some sort of alcohol immunity as Jin has already finished 5 bottles of whiskey and 3 bottles of vodka all by himself.

Even Tigress has almost passed out if it wasn't for her strong constitution that has kept her awake and resisted the temptation to pass out unlike the others.

"Isn't this a bit weird?" Mavis tilted her head and said, unlike the others, Mavis didn't drink any alcohol, not because she doesn't want to but because Jin and Dracula forbid her from drinking it.

Normally, if only Dracula forbade her, she might've sneaked to drink some but since Jin also forbade her, she didn't hesitate to give in and simply stood on the side, watching as everyone passed out one by one after drinking the alcohol.

Mavis has eaten the sweets they served but she felt nothing on them, so she quickly ate her own serve of sweets without any worry.

Jin also noticed this and has long caught up to Abraham's plan. You must be wondering about Dracula, right? Well, he didn't expect him to also pass out on the ground along with them.

"I didn't expect you to actually resist the tranquilizing poisons that could even knock out an elephant." Abraham walked forward and appeared to their sights as every monster that is still awake quickly raised their guards against Abraham, who is followed by his daughter Ericka Van Helsing along with the waitresses behind them that served the cocktails and wines earlier.

"I knew you wouldn't easily forgive Dracula like that. I should've known." Murray poured sand on the floor as a sign that he was ready for battle.

"I'll have to commend you for managing to resist that unlike him." Abraham clapped his hands despite his skinny structure before having a venomous tone on his voice as he refers to Dracula as 'him'.

"What's your deal, old man? I've heard about you and I don't think it's right to hate on us just because of your ancestor's mistake. Who told him to hunt vampires for his experiment?" Sensing the venomous tone towards her father, Mavis quickly retorted with the same venomous tone against him. Although she might start to rebel since she's technically in her teenage years but that doesn't mean she doesn't love her father anymore!

"My ancestor's mistake?! How dare you, cough cough!" Just as Abraham wanted to yell at her in the top of his lungs, however his failure organs failed him.

"Ehem!....Rest assured, I'll make sure no monster gets out of here alive!" Abraham cleared his throat before Ericka stepped forward and finally showed their ultimate weapon against the monsters!
