Chapter 14. Pink is the new cool

Ace laughed as he thought back to when he revealed the black pearl to his new crew members, before they left for the next island.

They all dropped their jaws like they had never seen a pearl on a ring fall into the sea then turn into a big black craft, watercraft that is.

Ace sat down on the forefront of the ship and looked forward as he enjoyed the sea breeze.

The sun was straight above him and his crew had hidden themselves in the shade as the sun rays could be quite burning out in the sea.

Yet to Ace, they felt cool.

Suddenly on the horizon, he saw a ship with a black flag sail towards him.

"Pirates hip!" Ace called out, making his crew members get out of their hiding and stepping forward, ready to fight.

The ship came closer and closer.

"Erm captain, I don't think they will fight us!" Nami said as she held onto her monocular telescope.

"What's going on?" Gaga asked, curious about what Nami saw on the oncoming ship.

Soon they found out.

The pirate ship came close enough and the Demon Ace Pirates saw something peculiar on the deck of the oncoming pirateship.

There laid all the pirate unconscious and beaten up on a pile, while a young woman with pink hair sat crossed legged devouring their food.

On the corner stood a pirate with captains hat, his legs shaking as he silently handed her food.

"Erm... what's going on?" Even Apoo, who was about to hide, stayed because of curiousity.

As the ships neared eachother, the pink haired lady that was eating like a pig stood up with food in her hand. She pointed at Ace with her meat.

"You! do you have meat on your ship." She shouted.

"Say no!" Nami and Apoo whispered and adviced with good intentions.

"YES!" Ace confirmed truthfully.

Both Apoo and Nami almost fell.

"DONT GIVE HER A REASON TO COME TO US!" both said the obvious.

"Ah, is that so.... then do you have pizza?" She then asked.

"...No."

"What?! Punks imma beat your asses!" she said angrily as she jumped ships.

As soon as she did that, all the unconscious pirates stood up as if they were on drugs and hurriedly put down all sails making the wind push their ship faster. Then they all went to row from the side making their ship blast away from the black pearl in unprecedented speeds.

The Demon Ace Pirates all looked at the spectacle in confusion.

Even the pink haired lady looked back at those pirates that escaped as soon as she jumped ships.

"What's their deal?" Both Ace and the pink haired lady said at the same time in confusion.

"OBVIOUSLY SHE IS THEIR DEAL! NOW WE HAVE MORE TROUBLE ON OUR HANDS BECAUSE YOU COULDN'T BE CAREFUL FOR EVEN A SECOND!" Nami calmly clarified.

"Yeez what's your deal?" Ace said nonchalantly.

"YOU!" she answered the obvious. The more she sailed with Ace, the angrier she got. If she could get a devil furit which turns anger into strength, then she'd be an emperor by now.

The pink haired lady looked pissed that the pirates she beat up escaped so fast.

"Haa it doesn't matter *NomNom* bcse I hve *NomNom" dis ship now *NomNom*" she said something as she started eating the meat in her hand.

"I'm hungry." Ace said as he turned to Nami. Seeing the pink haired lady eat, made him hungry.

"Now's not the time to eat!!!" Nami cried out.

"Captain, you really don't know how to deal with women!" Gaga said as she put a hand on Nami's back for consolidation.

"Is that so..." Ace said but his eyes were still on the meat that was being eaten by the pink haired lady.

"Are you going to eat all of it?" Ace asked as he pointed at the meat.

"Yesh!" She said with her mouth full.

"Can't you share?"

"No, I came to take your food." she explained.

"But.."

"No butts, I want all you have or else!" She said as she raised her other fist up threatingly, yet she didn't put any energy in that threat and she was more focused on eating.

"Captain, let me handle this kid!" Urouge said as he stepped forward, he put he hand on her shoulder, ready to throw her off the ship.

Unexpectedly, as soon as Urouge touched her shoulder, he aged at an visible speed and within a second he turned into a short elder that could barely stand, in fact, he might fall over by the wind.

"I am Bonney! from now on I'm taking over this ship!" The pink haired lady shouted. She thought that these pirates would be frightened and listen to her.

"Apoo, deal with her." Ace said.

From behind, a barrel far from where they stood, a head popped forward.

"Aye aye captain!" Apoo said bravely while hiding his body in fright behind the barrel.

Then his nose turned into an instrument and Apoo blew into it creating dozens of melodious tones and sounds that flew towards Bonney.

Bonney didn't expect another devil fruit user and barely reacted.

Apoo's abilities are hard to dodge, because when he creates different sound waves, they harm the person Apoo intented to harm. So his attacks are as fast as sound.

Bonney almost instantly was blasted backwards into the railings of the Black Pearl.

She looked up in shock as a drop of blood fell from her mouth.

The power of his attack was so powerful that even Urouge returned to his normal age as her devil fruit ability on him was released.

Everyone else was also shocked by the instant and powerful abilities of Apoo. Could they defeat such powerful abilities?

Even Urouge frowned deeply, although he wasn't afraid since the physical harm would make him stronger and faster thanks to his devil fruit.

She saw that Apoo was about to blow out more instrumental sounds, so she acted on instinct and held her ears.

She tensed her body and readied to use hardening Haki wherever the sound hit her.

Apoo blew out sounds and Bonney held her ears ready to harden her body at any moment. After Apoo made more sounds.... nothing happened to Bonney which made everyone look at him weirdly.

"Erm... the weakness of my devil fruit is if they don't hear the sound, the sound can't harm them!" Apoo said dejectedly, not realising that he just revealed something major.

Everyone made an 'I understand now' expression. Except for Bonney that still held her ears.

She then ran towards Apoo in full speed and jumped towards him while doing a flying dragon kick.

Apoo had already awakened his observation Haki and as such, dodged her fast attack in the last second. But just as she landed she spin around with another kick which Apoo wasn't able to dodge.

The kick hit him straight in the ribs making him fly sideways towards the railings and the force was powerful enough to make him fly over the railings.

"SPLASH"

"Sigh, go save him" Ace said to Spikeward.

Spikeward instantly reacted like a frightened bunny.

"Captain, my spiky hair doesn't grow on trees, I spend two hours every morning to make sure it looks cool like this!" Spikewards said.

Ace turned toward Yennow, who also looked like a frightened bunny.

"Captain, my yellow afro doesn't grow on bushes, I spend three hours every morning to make it look this cool!"

Ace sighed and looked at Ronaldino Ronaldo, the fatty with a mustache.

"Captain my mustache...."

Ace didn't listen to him and just kicked him into the sea.

Both Spikewards and Yennow became pale at this, making notes that next time, they'll just do whatever their captain says before he looses his cool.

Urouge, I choose you!" Ace shouted as he pointed towards Bonney.

"ORAAAAAA WELL CHOSEN CAPTAIN!" He shouted with a big smile. He was full of fighting power.

He ran sprinted at her like a bull, even though he was fast, almost as fast as Bonney herself, his movements were predictable so Bonney just dodged the last second.

Urouge just continued sprinting using his full power until he reached the end of the ship and fell over the railings.

"..."

"..."

"..."

"..."

"..."

No one could say anything, even Ace was speechless.
