The soft beeping of medical equipment was the only sound in the room. In the room on the bed with a emaciated appearance lay a young man who had breathing mask around his face.

Breathing in a haggard motion, the young man named Kyle Swanson was only waiting for his inevitable end as the nurses tried to save what was left of him. He smiled slightly as they tried their best but he knew he was not long for this world. His only regret was that he didn't get to go back to his passion of singing songs.

Finally he felt his vision going black and in a instant he was in a void with stars and nothing else. Looking down at his body he saw he had no body to speak of just a floating orb of light was where his body should have been.

Looking around he finally saw a otherworldly being who to his shock looked like the character Buddha from one of his favorite anime Record of Ragnarök. Buddha seeing he had Kyles attention boomed out in a loud voice.

"FINALLY! IVE BEEN WAITING HERE FOREVER!" Buddha yelled out with a massive grin.

Kyle taken aback hesitantly spoke.

"Great Buddha...where am I and why have you come to see me?" Kyle asked. "IVE COME TO SET THINGS RIGHT! YOU SHOULDN'T HAVE DIED FOR ANOTHER...20 YEARS. YOU SHOULD HAVE LIVED TO THE RIPE AGE OF 85 BUT YOU WERE SCREWED OVER BY ANOTHER GOD WHO IS BEING PUNISHED AS WE SPEAK!"

Kyle while indignant was not mad, he knew things happened what use was getting mad when he was already dead.

"Sigh, its fine, I've lived a good long life, seen so much but experienced so little as well. But my only regret was not getting back into music."

"I'VE BEEN TASKED WITH SENDING YOU BACK IN TIME WITH A SYSTEM TAILORED TO YOU BY ME THE GREAT BUDDHA! YOU WILL BE ROUGHLY 22 YEARS OLD WHEN YOU ARRIVE. IT WILL BE THE A ALTERNATE EARTH BUT SET IN THE 1990'S. NOW THE GREAT BUDDHA WISHES YOU A WELL AND PROSPEROUS LIFE SO SAYS THE GREAT BUDDHA!" He yelled out.

Kyle again felt his vision going and before he could say anything he blacked out.

Earth: 1990:

Opening his eyes he felt strength he hadn't felt in years. Rushing to the bathroom in his old apartment he saw he was indeed 22 years old like Buddha promised Before he could admire his reflection anymore a transparent screen appeared in front of him.

This timeline also doesn't have any of the bands/singers from the future. This system also provides missions and tasks that will help elevate the host to stardom. Kyle seeing this got excited as now he had a cheat and he would use it to become a superstar in no time, but first he need band mates and that would hopefully not take up too much time. He had a couple of friends/acquaintances who were musically gifted that could help he just had to convince them.

After brushing and showering he immediately went about texting his friends.

{Kyle: Hey Jason! Call me immediately! I have somethings to talk about!}

{Jason: What is it you need to talk about? I'm kinda busy at the moment...}

Kyle closed the app with a grin on his face.

Not even a second later his phone rang. Picking up immediately he began the conversation that would change not only his life but the lives of others as well.
