Training with Gaara gets fainty

"Are you alright, Natsuko?" Gaara asked the two had been training together for about thirty minutes, Natsuko coughing a few times, Natsuko's hair was in french braids behind her head as she wore a light blue jogging outfit with her jonin vest overtop, her hokage cloak overtop that, with her ninjaheadband tied tightly around her forehead. Her black ninja sandals on her feet paired with her shuriken holsters on her thighs, her katana on the right side of her back with her kunai pouch towards the left side. Gaara wore a dark red tunic with black pants, his ninja sandals on his feet, with his gord sitting on his back.

"Yeah, yeah, think it might just be allergies or something from dust we kicked up. *coughs* let's go again" Natsuko said and Gaara hummed,

"Actually, I was gonna ask if you wanted to grab some food while I'm in town, I heard Naruto's favorite was Ichiraku?" Gaara asked and Natsuko looked over,

"Just once more I wanna make sure we *cough* have this down before we take a break, you know" Natsuko said and Gaara hummed, before agreeing, they were training in one of the joint training facilities sitting on both the sand and leaf territory, a round dome with sand on the ground on one side with a small forest on the otherside, sunlight peering in through the windows near the top of the dome, with a door on either side, Kankuro and Temari were also worried about her, but neither could say anything as they weren't currently inside the training grounds, they were busy guarding the training grounds, a job that both Gaara and Natsuko said was unnecessary, but they insisted. Natsuko was breathing heavier than gaara which while not unusual, however paired with the coughing, Gaara was concerned. Gaara putting up a block of sand as Natsuko ran at him again, moving quickly with her sword, one specifically used for training, so Gaara wouldn't loose a limb, a few moments later, the two felt better about the move over all.

"Hey you guys ready for food, I'm starving." Kankuro said walking in, he wore a black ninja outfit, with his cat eared hood with the ninja plate on the front, his scrolls on his back, paired with the purple facepaint on his face Gaara nodded,

"Yeah lets get some food" Gaara said as he walked towards the door, no longer giving Natsuko an option, She looked at him a moment before shrugging,

"She may be hiding something…" Gaara said lowly to Kankuro who hummed, before his eyes widened,

"Natsuko!" he said, Natsuko having been walking after Gaara, before she fainted into the sand, Gaara turning quickly, his friend passed out on the sand, her training Katana not far from her grasp, Gaara moving the sand so she was on her back, before he hummed, moving her leaf headband, to put his hand on her forehead,

"We need to get her to Lady Tsunade right away. Her temperature is elevated." Gaara said

"You mean she's sick… and she decided to train." Temari said as she came around the corner, she wore her ash blonde hair in four pony tails with her headband tied to her forehead, wearing a shortsleeved black kimono with a red belt where her kunai pouch sat, her fan strapped to her back with red bands Gaara picking Natsuko up bridal style, who's face was now flushed, her breathing harsher,

"Oh Tsunade is going to kill her, and then we're gonna kill her." Kankuro said as they jumped towards the leaf hospital, Gaara humming in amusement, before reaching the Hospital where Shizune was outside, seeming to be leaving the hospital, the leaf in the temporary care of Shisui.

"Lord Kazeka…Lady Natsuko! What happened?" Shizune said alarmed,

"She fainted during training." Gaara said simply, Shizune coming closer putting a hand on her forehead,

"Yeah, no wonder… come on, I have a bed ready for her. It's a slow day today." She explained, walking forwards, motioning for the three to follow, which they did, laying her down on a hospital bed,

"So, why'd she faint?" Kankuro said and Tsunade hummed, looking over Natsuko once more, who'd yet to awaken

"Her temperature was 103degrees F (39degrees C), so actually it's a miracle she actually still made it to your training. She's always pushing herself too hard, this time it just happened to catch up with her. Since Naruto's gone on his training with Jiraiya it seems she's been pushing herself twice as hard" Tsunade said unconcerned as her temperature had already begun to drop, it was a common cold, that was just escalated with the training.

"Has this happened before?" Gaara asked, and Tsunade hummed

"Naruto usually drags her in before it goes too far. She doesn't like taking time off of being hokage, doesn't want to let down the village. Funny, considering she never wanted the position, said she wasn't the right person. But she also doesn't want to be a burden on the medical team" Tsunade said shaking her head,

"She should wake up in about an hour. Your welcome to stay or leave. I've got other patients to see." Tsunade said and Gaara nodded

"Oh, she's waking up." Kankuro said a little over an hour later, they were sat in Natsukos room,

"Where…" Natsuko said

"The leaf hospital. You passed out after training." Temari said and Natsuko looked over

"Damnit." She said leaning back into the pillow before going to sit up

"Why didn't you say anything." Gaara said and Natsuko looked over, coughing a moment, as she sat up on the bed

"It's not a big deal… we.." Natsuko started

"Not a big… you had a 103 degree fever, and still decided it was a good idea to train." Temari said grabbing Natsuko's ear who groaned,

"Ow." Natsuko said and Temari tsked, pulling her ear a moment before releasing it, Natsuko rubbing the appendage, she sat up in the bed,

"She's got a point Natsuko. What were you thinking." Tsunade said walking in the room, Natsuko crossing her arms, as she turned away,

"I… Don't think you were actually looking for a response." Natsuko said looking at Tsunade, who hummed

"Look at that, you've gotten better at picking up on sarcasm." Tsunade said, and Natsuko glared

"Anyway, I'm fine. Let's just.." Natsuko said going to move from the bed

"Oh no you don't. You're taking at least a day off of your Hokage duties. Shisui's already been informed, you need to rest. That means your done with training for today." Tsunade said and Natsuko tsked,

"You can't just…" Natsuko started

"I can. And I did. You can rest here or at your house, it's up to you. But you will be resting."

"Why didn't you say anything?" Gaara asked again after they'd forced her to accept their help to her house, Natsuko sitting on the couch, with her arms crossed,

"It's…" Natsuko started

"If you say not a big deal, I will bury you in sand at our next training." Gaara said, and he was 100% serious, Natsuko looked over before looking towards the window,

"I didn't want to cancel last minute, and be a burden on anyone. I gave my word that I'd train with you, and I don't go back on my word." Natsuko said and Kankuro smacked his hand on his face,

"That's why you didn't… yours and Naruto's nindo is annoying sometimes, you know that. You should have canceled if you didn't feel well." Kankuro said and Natsuko looked over

"I feel fine, this is just being blown out of proportion." Natsuko said, and Gaara hit her face lightly with sand,

"You should take better care of yourself Hokage." Gaara said and Natsuko tsked,

"Yeah yeah" Natsuko said

"Did you seriously sneak out of your bed, out of your house, to come here… to ask for paperwork, Lady Natsuko." Shisui said as Natsuko stood outside the Hokage office

"If I'm gonna be forced to be home, I wanna make sure I do something productive.." Natsuko said and Shisui rolled his eyes,

"You should be resting. Lady Hokage, not worrying about paperwork, it'll still be here when you're well." Shisui said and Natsuko groaned, she wore a face mask, with gloves on her hands,

"Come onnn Shisui, it's not even that bad." Natsuko said coughing into her mask and elbow

"Natsuko!! I left you alone for five minutes! Seriously?! Out of anywhere you could have gone, you chose the Hokage's mansion, you realize this was the first place I looked, right… just because you move you chakra chains doesn't mean I can't see you. I can still see you Natsuko." Temari said she'd volunteered to stay behind so Gaara could get back to the sand village, since Naruto was on his trip with Jiraiya and wasn't able to enforce her actually resting, Temari jumping up to the building, grabbing Natsuko around the waist,

"W-waitttt my papersss" Natsuko said, her voice had begun to go downhill,

"Nope. Shisui, don't give her any of the paperwork." Temari said before jumping away with Natsuko in her arms, Natsuko just resigning herself to the fate.

"You know, I could probably beat you in a fight" Natsuko said and Temari hummed

"Your still not doing any paperwork" Temari said as she re-entered the apartment, Natsuko huffing,

"It's not even that bad. Temari." Natsuko said, before wincing as Temari grabbed her ear again, all but throwing her into the bed,

"Just stay there, what's so hard about resting, Suko, you and Gaara are workaholics, you know that?" Temari said and Natsuko coughed,

"Yeah well, I was trusted with the village by gramps third, I can't let him down ya know." She said and Temari sighed,

"You need to take care of yourself as well. Get some rest," She said and Natsuko glared at her before doing so

"You're like, the older sister I never had, it's weird." Natsuko said and Temari snorted, Temari leaving later that day, as Tsunade had Sakura look after her instead since she was a medical, Natsuko being cleared for Ninja work the next week. Returning to office and her duties, as well as her training with Gaara. Temari giving Natsuko a 30minute lecture as she shook her shoulders, Sakura already having given her an hour lecture and Tsunade's lasting two hours.
