Chapter 388: I Work Out!

Running through the castle halls, several Giants donned in outdated armor busted down a set of double doors, revealing a long room that led to two thrones on the far end. Uncaring for their disrespectful actions, the giants continued to run through the Throne room until they arrived near the two thrones, where they promptly lowered to one knee.

"Y-Your Majesty Gungnir, w-we're being attacked! E-Elbaf is being attacked!" Yelled the frontmost giant anxiously as he raised his head to gaze at the mountain of a man sitting atop the throne, only for him to raise his hand, silencing the giant.

"Thador, calm yourself. The Red-haired pirates protect our land; besides, as Giants, we are not the kind to cower behind others when our land is being attacked." Declared the King, Gungnir, solemnly with a calm gaze as he eyed the frontmost guard, Thador, who anxiously bit his lip.

"Y-Your Majesty, y-you don't understand, t-the ones who are attacking us. T-They not just any normal pirates-" Said Thador as he stared at the Gungnir, who slammed his fist onto the throne, causing it to crumble while the whole room shook.

"Enough Thador! We Giants are a race of warriors! It matters not who it is that attacks our land! Pirates, Marines, even if the World Government themselves would come, we will fight back with every ounce of our very being!" Stated Gungnir sternly as he stood up and narrowed his eyes at Thador, who opened his mouth only to lower his head while nodding.

However, just when Gungnir was about to open his mouth, a wave of incredibly powerful haki like no other suddenly washed over them, causing thousands of giants all throughout Elbaf to fall unconscious, while some of the weaker ones, unfortunately, couldn't withstand the might of Diddy's will and entered a permanent comatose.

"W-What was that?" Asked Gungnir in shock and disbelief as he stared at the ceiling, only for the shriek of an ancient being to echo throughout Elbaf, entering every giant's ear.

"TREASURE TREE ADAM!" Yelled Thador and Gungnir simultaneously as the latter quickly punched a massive hole in the side of the castle, revealing the sight of the Treasure Tree Adam.

The moment the Giants laid eyes upon the tree, they got to witness the historic sight of a single blade slash right through the strongest tree in the world, something that nearly caused every Giant's eyes to pop out of their socket as they watched in utter disbelief.

"W-Who? WHO DID THIS!?" Exclaimed Gungnir furiously as he clenched his fist while his haki exploded from his body, painting his skin a dark black hue.

"T-The Frenzy Pirates, Y-Your Majesty. C-Chaos Kong and the Frenzy Pirates are attacking Elbaf." Stated Thador softly as he remained on his knees while glancing at Gungnir, whose furious expression was briefly replaced with terror, followed by his haki significantly weakening.

"C-Chaos Kong?" Muttered Gungir with a gulp as he stared at the small, golden brown dot floating high sky, his body profusely sweating, only for his vision to suddenly be obstructed by the falling tree.

"Y-Your Majesty! W-Watch out!" Yelled Thador loudly, snapping Gungir out of his trance and causing his fury to return in full effect.

"We can't leave; it'll kill too many of us!" Stated Gungir solemnly as he removed his royal garbs, revealing his large muscular frame despite his elderly appearance.

"Y-Your Majesty, y-you can't be saying we must catch it!?" Exclaimed Thador in disbelief as he eyed Gungnir, who raised his arms in the air with a hardened gaze.

"Are we not Giants, Thador!? There is none stronger than us; we will prove that right now!" Stated Gungnir solemnly as he flexed his muscles, his words motivating every Giant as they all coated themselves in haki while raising their arms into the air.

"HEAR ME MY KIN! RAISE YOUR ARMS! PROTECT THOSE WHO CAN'T PROTECT THEMSELVES! FOR OUR STRENGTH IS UNMATCHED!" Yelled Gungnir loudly, his voice echoing throughout the entire area, his words causing every Giant that could still move to raise their arms while coating themselves in haki.

"Watch over us, Nika." Muttered Gungnir as he firmly planted his feet, only for him and thousands of other giants to be smashed by the immense weight of the Treasure Tree Adam.

Gazing downwards at the tree, I was about to return to the town I initially landed at, but I stopped when I sensed the tree faintly move, causing me to raise an eyebrow as I narrowed my eyes.

"Heh, it seems I might've underestimated the Giants to think they were strong enough to hold that tree. Even I would find it very difficult to carry that thing." Muttered Diddy with a slightly surprised expression as he gazed at the tree, only to shrug his shoulders before turning around and heading to Trenza.

'Captain, we're here to enslave the Giants, not kill them; if nothing is to be done, they will eventually crushed to death.' Said Sebas softly as he spoke directly into Diddy's mind, causing him to growl in annoyance before grunting.

"Tsk, fine, I'll do something, also get the fuck out of my head, I don't like it." Remarked Diddy with a click of his tongue as he propelled himself towards the tree while aggressively rubbing his head, only stopping once Sebas's presence vanished.

Unfortunately, Sebas was correct, so although I didn't want to help the Giants, I was the one who agreed to enslave them, so I couldn't just disregard my own words… Though I would've done just that if they were anyone else's.

Once I reached the tree, I grumbled under my breath before stabbing my nails into it as I began to rapidly kick the air, yet this wasn't light.

'Tsk, it's too heavy; I'm going to carry it from underneath.' Mused Diddy with a grunt as he dropped to the ground before speedily dashing underneath the tree, passing several Giants until he reached the middle.

Since I didn't feel like politely asking the Giants to move, I simply kicked in all directions, creating a powerful gust of wind that knocked them all out of the Tree's range while I quickly raised my arms, catching the tree.

"S-Shit!" Said Diddy as he slammed into the ground.

'Captain, do you request any assistance?' Asked Sebas in slight concern as he floated in the air with Janet on his back, while gazing at the massive tree in the distance, which faintly moved.

"S-Shut up!" Stated Diddy in frustration as he carried the Treasured Tree Adam on his shoulder, having strengthened the entire Island with his haki, preventing him from sinking into it.

'F-Fuck, I underestimated how heavy this thing is.' Thought Diddy with an ugly expression as he took a step forward, his legs trembling with each step.

Since I was so small compared to the Giants that lived here, I ended up destroying practically their entire city, and funnily enough, it wasn't on purpose; then again, it's not like it mattered; I planned to enslave them all anyways.

"S-Still, t-this thing is fucking h-heavy! Urgh, I-It feels like my spine is going to snap." Muttered Diddy with deep breaths as he took a moment of respite between every step.

I planned to drop this tree off at shore or in the sea, which was going to probably take an hour-plus at this rate, but halfway through the walk, my eyes suddenly widened as I nearly hit myself in the face.

'I'm fucking stupid!' Thought Diddy with a massive grin as he slightly spread his feet and took a big breath, only to do a squat.

"Hehehe, I'm a genius." Said Diddy softly as he repreaetedly squatted, his actions catching the attention of Sebas.

"Um, Sebas, you don't think Captain is doing what we think he's doing… Do you?" Asked Janet lightly as she turned and glanced at Sebas, who nodded with a wry expression before sighing.

"Haa, let's just leave him be; the last thing I want is to be struck by that tree." Muttered Sebas softly as he shook his head before lowering himself to the island where Trenza, Chala, and Grand were.

"Janet, can you detain these Giants?" Asked Trenza as she glanced at Janet and pointed at all the motionless Giants, prompting her to nod with a smirk.

"Heh, you can count on me!" Said Janet with a grin as she saluted Trenza before using her hands to take pictures, causing a Giant to disappear while a photo suddenly appeared at her feet.

"So, what is taking Captain so long?' Asked Trenza with a curious gaze as she glanced at Sebas, who slightly shook his head, causing her to raise an eyebrow before sighing.

"Haa, never mind, forget it, Father. Anyways, once Janet finishes capturing all the Giants, we should head to the next closest Town unless you've got a better idea." Added Trenza in slight annoyance as she rubbed her head and glanced at Janet before looking at Sebas, who shook his head.

"None at all, dear. Chala, Grand, you two may go ahead; just remember not to kill them; we want them alive and preferably with minimal injuries." Remarked Sebas as he turned his gaze toward Chala and Grand, his words causing their eyes to shine eagerly.

"Haha, follow me, Grand!" "Right behind you!" Said Chala and Grand, respectively, as they dashed through the town, smashing through the houses before continuing off into the forest, killing every monstrous beast they came across with ease.

"So, what did I miss?" Asked Reiju lightly as she gently landed on the ground beside Trenza and Sebas.
