"Gentlemen, we're gathering everything related to the Tesseract," Nick Fury tried to find a reasonable excuse for Captain America's discovery. "But that doesn't mean we're creating..."

"Oh, come on, Nick. Don't try to weasel out of it," Tony Stark interrupted Nick Fury before he could finish his sentence, pulling up a weapon blueprint on the computer.

"I was wrong, Commander. Nothing has changed in this world," Captain America's voice was filled with deep disappointment.

At that moment, Thor and Natasha Romanoff, the Black Widow, walked in.

"Do you know what's going on?" Bruce Banner immediately asked Natasha Romanoff.

"Don't you want to get out of this place, Doctor?" Natasha Romanoff countered instead of answering.

"I was in Kolkata at the time, this has nothing to do with me," Bruce Banner seemed quite annoyed.

"Loki is using you," Natasha Romanoff said.

"And what's your motive?" Bruce Banner's speech quickened.

"You didn't come here because I was flirting with you."

"And I'm leaving not because you're neurotic," Bruce Banner approached Natasha Romanoff and grabbed the computer on the side, pointing at the weapon blueprint on it, "I need to know why S.H.I.E.L.D. is using the Tesseract to create weapons of mass destruction."

This time, Nick Fury didn't try to deny making weapons. He pointed at Thor instead. "Because of him."

"Me?" Thor, who was watching the scene unfold, was a little confused. He never expected the conflict to be directed at him.

"Last year, Earth welcomed a visitor from outer space. Due to his personal grudges, an entire town was leveled. We learned that there is not only life in the universe, but life that is far more powerful, advanced, and developed than us," Nick Fury explained.

"Our people have no ill intentions toward your planet," Thor said.

"But the universe isn't just about you, and you're not the only threat," Nick Fury looked at Thor. "In this world, there are many enemies we cannot match, and they won't be controlled..."

"Just like how you controlled the Tesseract?" Captain America interrupted Nick Fury.

"It's your research on the Tesseract that attracted Loki and his allies," Thor looked at Nick Fury and spoke slowly and deliberately, "To other planets, it is a signal that the people of Earth are ready for advanced warfare."

"Advanced warfare?" Captain America clearly didn't agree with Thor's words, but before he could refute, Nick Fury said, "You forced our hand, we need to have countermeasures."

"Like nuclear deterrence?" Tony Stark, standing behind Nick Fury, spoke in a mocking tone, "That move will surely calm everything down."

"Why don't you talk about how you made your fortune, Stark?" Nick Fury turned his head to look at Tony Stark.

"I'm sure if he's still making weapons," Captain America walked over, "he's probably buried..."

"Wait!" Tony Stark exclaimed, "Why is the finger pointed at me?"

"Hasn't it always been directed at you?" Captain America countered.

"I thought Earthlings would be more enlightened," Thor taunted.

"We didn't go to your planet and cause havoc!" Nick Fury scolded.

"Don't you have any confidence in your own teammates?" Thor retorted.

"You're not my teammate yet," Nick Fury said.

"Are you all this immature?" Natasha Romanoff tried to ease the tension. "S.H.I.E.L.D. is just monitoring potential threats."

"So Captain America is a potential threat?" Bruce Banner interjected.

"We all are," Natasha Romanoff said.

"Don't worry about him, Doctor."

"Wait, Doctor, are you on the list too?"

"I hope Loki will take me back to Asgard."

"The people guarding Loki can't stop you."

"Listen, if you..."

"Intimidation? That's blatant intimidation!"

"If I really wanted to threaten you, you wouldn't be able to escape. It's not World War II anymore."

The words that followed were indistinguishable, as everyone started arguing with each other, creating chaos on the scene.

These superheroes who saved the world in the future were acting so differently from what Phil Coulson expected. They were accusing and quarreling with each other, just like petty commoners.

"It seems that you were really not united at the beginning..." Phil Coulson couldn't help but feel emotional.

"I'm also surprised," Tony Stark shrugged. "Of course, I'm not surprised by what I said myself. But seeing Captain America targeting people and Thor being sarcastic..."

"Where am I in all this?" Clint Barton asked.

The people involved in the argument were Nick Fury, Natasha Romanoff, Bruce Banner, Tony Stark, Steve Rogers (Captain America), and Thor—members and founders of the Avengers. But Clint Barton's presence was nowhere to be seen.

"You probably hadn't freed yourself from Loki's mind control at that time," Tony Stark speculated.

"What are we? A team?" Bruce Banner questioned in the video. "No, when we're together, we only create chaos, like a time bomb."

"You should calm down," Nick Fury advised Bruce Banner.

"Why can't a man vent a little?" Tony Stark made an ill-timed comment, even putting his hand on Captain America's shoulder as he spoke.

"Are you afraid of chaos?" Captain America became a bit angry, swatting Tony Stark's hand away. "Leave me alone!"

"I'd like to see how you'll make me leave," Tony Stark became fired up too, looking straight at Captain America.

"Yeah, hide behind your armor and play hero," Captain America sneered. "Without the armor, what are you?"

"I'm a genius, a millionaire, a playboy, a philanthropist."

"Many people who aren't any of those things are ten times stronger than you. I've seen enough. You only fight for yourself. You're definitely not the kind of person who sacrifices for others, lying on the ground and letting your comrades pass over you," Captain America said to Tony Stark, word by word.

"I think we should cut the wire mesh," Tony Stark responded.

"You always have twisted ideas," Captain America laughed. "Maybe you're not a threat, but you better not see yourself as a hero."

"A hero?" Tony Stark retorted. "Like you? Rogers, you're just an experiment. All your abilities come from a little bottle."

"Put on your armor," Captain America said. "Let's settle this one-on-one."

"Hehehe..." Thor sneered from the side. "You people are truly pathetic and weak. This is what teamwork looks like."
