Chapter 94: Mission

The other Foundation Establishment cultivator disliked me. I could sense it. Why, though? Was it because I was the leader of the squad and not him? Was it because of my talent and quick ascension?

"We have to kill a lot of cultivators, or else you will not live up to the fame you have," the Foundation Establishment cultivator said.

I did not mind him.

"At least I have fame," I said.

The other cultivators with us chuckled, but the Foundation one looked even angrier than before.

We left the cemetery where the Sect was, moving away from our base, using the night as cover. The mission was somewhat different.

The righteous and the rogue cultivators knew the evil Sects were attacking everyone they saw, so only a few people used the familiar roads to travel. Traveling through the forests and facing the spiritual beasts was safer. That was how bad the situation was.
