"You're right. There's definitely something amiss here," I declared, my gaze sweeping across the surroundings in an attempt to detect any signs of suspicious activity.

However, my visual inspection yielded no immediate results. There was nothing apparent that could explain the peculiar situation we found ourselves in.

"Do any of you have any ideas about what might be happening here?" I inquired, turning to Ye Hu, Hou Suyin, and Hou Biya. Given their familiarity with the area, I hoped they might possess some valuable insights.

Ye Hu let out a sigh before responding, "I'm afraid not. While I know this place is dangerous, I've never heard of it playing tricks on one's senses like this."
