A Problem?

"Will you help us unseal that moron(Gojo Satoru)?" At the question, all movements in the room stopped. Even Nobara's ears rose, they wanted his help because the higher-ups have decided to brand anyone who attempted to unseal Gojo as criminals.

"If you can't help just say no, you don't need to force yourself on my part." Nobara decided to let her thoughts know. Even if he didn't help, her thoughts on him wouldn't change. He had certain things he couldn't do so that was all she needed to know.

"The short answer is No," And as she expected he couldn't help them.

"Can I have the long answer?" Yuki asked with a wink. That was her way of compensating him, even if she didn't need to.

"The long answer is that I can't help until certain conditions have been met. It isn't that I don't want to help, it just wouldn't work in anyone's favor if I force things." His words hung in the silence until Yuji stood up.

"Then tell us about the conditions we'll try to complete them," He became more knowledgeable about the Cursed energy and its applications.

So, not for a second did he doubt Adam's words. The others too could feel that something bound him to such a manner.

"I can't," However, they didn't expect this.

"Are you serious?" Fushiguro asked, this turned out to be more complex than they thought.

"Yes, the power to tell about the conditions doesn't lie with me." Adam could only take in clients through the shop. He himself couldn't speak of his contracts directly unless the conditions aligned. And here it didn't.

"Well, looks like we have to go with what we planned before." Maki stood up from the sofa.

"We've got no other choice, but if you change your mind find me alright?" Yuki gave him another wink and leaned back into the sofa.

It would've been better if they had Adam's help but even without that, they had their plans.

"So, we're going to use Yuji's big brother to locate the correct door and enter the warehouse, and from there we can reach the Tomb?" Nobara spoke her mouth full of the last slice of pizza.

"That is the plan, but I don't see things going so smoothly." Yuki grimaced. This was Tengen they were talking about, she knew it wouldn't be that easy to get a hold of him.

However, the next second she burst into laughter. Before they even left the room, a door to the tomb appeared before them. And as it opened they could see their target stepping into the room.

"I never expected you'd exit that place of your own accord. I wonder why that happened?" She said, but the answer would soon reveal itself.

"Technically I haven't appeared in front of you. But, I'd rather not waste the time of someone like him." Tengen, the four-eyed square faced being covered in white robes turned towards Adam.

"That's better I have something to do after this," He said.

"You know each other?" Nobara asked the question in everyone's heads.

"I know him because of my work. Tengen was supposed to be the overseer of this world but has been trying to run away from it for years by merging with others." Adam explained. However, his main intention was to question the person here, if they happened to overhear it then it wasn't his fault.

"I simply couldn't agree to such a position," Tengen said.

"But Fate is a fickle thing. In the end, you will become what you were set to be. Also, it isn't that bad being an Administrator anyway, it is a cozy job." Adam smiled.

"Then why don't you become the Administrator of this world?" Tengen said but Adam just shrugged.

"It isn't what I want, and think for a second do you really think this world can survive with me as an Administrator?" He had leave within a week or less so the universe's balance isn't destroyed. And as an administrator, the last thing you'd want to do is leave your universe unattended.

"Tengen-sama, why does your body look like that?" Yuji's innocent curiosity cut through the tension much to Fushiguro's dismay.

"When you become over 500 years old you'll look like this too?" Tengen's answer surprised a few people in the room.

"So, shall we get to the heart of the matter?" And with that, the tension rose again. Regardless, the questions they wanted to ask remained the same.

"We came to ask about Kenjaku's objectives and how to open the prison realm. Will you tell us what you know?" Yuta asked and expecting this Tengen opened his mouth.

"I will tell you what I know, but in exchange, you must convince that man to be my guard." Their eyes gathered on Adam, hearing that a small smile crept up on his lips.

"Seriously, you didn't even give us anything and are demanding something like that?" Yuki wasn't pleased either, this just reeked of a scheme. But, the answer to this was much simpler.

"Kenjaku's objective is to force the evolution of all Human beings throughout the Land of Japan. He can't use the barriers to do that because he lacks the cursed energy. Cursed energy refined by Uzumaki can't return to the sorcerer and triggering an evolution in each individual with a cursed technique is inefficient." Tengen decided to answer them truthfully without wasting any more time, "The method of Evolution that Kenjaku has chosen is the merging of Mankind and me."

"But wasn't that limited to the Star plasma vessels?" Fushiguro questioned.

"Was limited, yes. Now, I have evolved further in the past 12 years and it wouldn't be impossible." Tengen answered, "Right now I am one with the world, and any human who merges with me will transform into something greater than the sorcerer, a being that is there yet not there."

By merging humanity with Tengen there would be no boundaries between individuals, so evil will spread instantaneously. Japan had an abundance of cursed energy compared to the rest. The impurities of a hundred million people would flood into the world and corrupt everyone. And Tengen had no way of stopping the merge or rejecting it.

"I am more akin to a Cursed spirit than a human at the moment, and that makes me a target for Cursed Spirit Manipulation." The worst news had hit them.

"Considering his skill as a sorcerer, he will seize me the moment we encounter each other," Tengen said.

"So, this is why you need guards, but why him specially," Yuki asked.

"He sealed Gojo Satoru to prevent the Six Eyes from becoming a problem for him again, he has inhabited the body of Geto Suguru to use his Cursed technique, with me evolving into a cursed spirit, and him setting up the Culling Games using the sorcerer from the previous eras to gather the Cursed Energy required for the merge. Kenjaku has all of the pieces in place, and the only one who can completely flip his board is him."

"Ho! Are you saying that the rest of us can't stop him?" Yuki smirked. This certainly made things interesting.

"Kenjaku has been forming his plans for more than 1000 years, and this is the closest he has gotten to achieving it. So, I wouldn't believe he would be thwarted that easily, but fate is fickle as you said." Tengen looked at Adam.

His presence morphed Fate entirely, he could change the waves however he wanted. That is the power that radiated from him. A power beyond their understanding.

"Not possible." Adam shook his head.

"Why not?!" Itadori's yelp rang in the room. If he stood guard they could stop Kenjaku's plan and unseal Gojo would become easier.

"If Kenjaku gets his way he will merge the whole of humanity with Master Tengen. That means Kugisaki is a target too." Fushiguro said, he didn't like that he had to mention it but this was important.

As Adam went silent they could only wait for his answer. And it didn't take long for him to arrive at the solution.

"Hmm, that does seem like a problem… Wait a sec…" With that, Adam vanished from the room and reappeared in a minute with the man of the hour himself.

'Kenjaku!'
