Chapter 20

(S.T.A.R Labs)

Barry was feeling depressed as he could not still run at his full speed, so after the kidnapping of Caitlin he started to feel useless. So to distract himself he wheeled himself to to Cortex to see the results, when he got there he saw Cisco, Joe and Harrison watching the monitor before he got closer to take a look. When he saw that yellow suit he was struck with multitude of emotions all at once, disbelief, anger, fear, confusion amongst the many implicating emotions. When Cisco and Joe saw him they let him in on the plan "Well Barry, Jacob is going to trick Grodd to rescue Caitlin. I had to make a miniature device to mask the lightning and the voice, although we would have to see how it all goes down." Said Cisco

Joe looking at Cisco saying "We don't even know that man, what if he's working with Zoom. We can't just take his words for it, how do we know he is what he says he is?" All of them hearing this agreed before Harrison who was quiet said "Then perhaps it's time for mister ramon to shine."

As they were watching the interaction between Jacob and Grodd, they all had the chills hearing the familiar voice that haunted them. They then saw Jacob taking Caitlin away before they reappeared back in the cortex, Barry attacked by the flashback of his mother's death was about to attack the speedster before he found him bound in lightning, Jacob was smirking before he said "Well what do you know, i guess I could make a good improv actor huh?"

Seeing the mood he immediately got serious and removed the hood revealing Jacob to the team, Cisco then welcomed him back approaching him before clapping his back "Dude you literally killed it, i still have the goosbumps seeing you in this suit." Cisco was then assaulted by the visions he got from Jacob he saw the battle that had him and his friend Godwin team up with Superman against General Zod. He saw as they fought to the standstill, the devastation of what their fight caused and Jacob's fight against other kryptonians. However the thing that he saw that creeped him out was seeing Jacob vibrating his hand through Zod's chest, he saw the similarities between him and The Reverse Flash. But he also witnessed him saving the city that was being destroyed by the Kryptonian Battleship.

Coming back to his senses, he found himself laying in the sickbay bed, with all the team looking at him.

"Soooo. You vibed me huh?" Jacob looked at Cisco with his arms folded at his chest with a frown, Cisco getting up said "My bad man, i can't control my powers sometimes." After looking at Cisco with a frown for an extended time making the team nervous, he then shrugged saying "Eh, whatever man, just pulling your leg." He said with a chuckle making them both laugh, so after recovering they went on to plan on what to do with Grodd.

Cisco, Harrison Wells, Caitlin, and Barry gathered in the S.T.A.R. Labs command center, their eyes fixed on the screens displaying Grodd's immense power and his impending threat to the city. They knew that stopping him would require an ingenious plan.

Barry, known for his quick thinking, spoke up first. "Alright, guys, we're dealing with Grodd, a telepathic ape with immense strength. We need a plan that can neutralize him without endangering ourselves or the city."

Harrison Wells, with his vast knowledge and strategic mind, interjected, "Indeed, Mr. Alllen We must exploit Grodd's vulnerabilities. He may be powerful, but he is still an animal with instincts we can use against him."

Caitlin, her voice steady and analytical, added, "Grodd's telepathic abilities have grown stronger over time. We'll need a way to disrupt his focus and limit his control over others."

Barry, his determination shining in his eyes, chimed in, "I've seen Grodd's strength firsthand, and he's nearly invulnerable. We need to find a way to subdue him long enough to neutralize the threat."

Harrison, observing the conversation silently until now, stepped forward. "Actually, I might have an idea." All eyes turned to him, curious and hopeful.

Harrison continued, "On my Earth, i developed a technology that could open portals to different dimensions. What if we could use that technology to send Grodd to an Ape Utopia?"

Caitlin's eyebrows furrowed in thought. "An Ape Utopia? Is that some sort of sanctuary for intelligent apes?"

Harrison Wells nodded, a hint of a smile crossing his face. "Exactly. On certain Earths, apes have evolved to possess advanced intelligence and live in their own societies. We could send Grodd to one of those Earths, where he'll be among his own kind."

Cisco's face lit up with excitement. "That's genius! We'll need to modify the interdimensional portal technology to target the specific Earth where the Ape Utopia exists." Barry nodded in agreement. "And once we've sent Grodd there, we can close the portal behind him, ensuring he's unable to return or cause any harm."

Harrison Wells clapped his hands together. "That's settled then. We'll modify the interdimensional portal device and create a frequency disruptor to counter Grodd's telepathic abilities. We'll lead him to an area where the portal is set up, activate the disruptor, and open the portal to the Ape Utopia."

Caitlin, ever the realist, raised a concern. "But how do we make sure Grodd follows us willingly to the portal?"

Jacob stepped forward with a mischievous grin. "Leave that to me. I have an idea on how to get Grodd's attention and lure him towards the portal. Once he's within range, we'll activate the disruptor and initiate the portal sequence."

Cisco, intrigued by Jacob's confidence, asked, "What's your plan, Jacob?"

Jacob's grin widened. "I'll lead Grodd to the portal in my Reverse Flash persona." Barry nodded in agreement. "That could work. Grodd won't be able to resist obeying his father."

Harrison Wells, impressed by the team's collaboration, added, "While Jacob distracts Grodd, the rest of us will be ready to activate the disruptor and open the portal. Once the portal is active, we'll lead Grodd towards it, ensuring he steps through and is transported to the Ape Utopia."

Caitlin, always focused on the scientific details, raised another concern. "We'll need precise timing and coordination to make sure everything goes according to plan. If Grodd senses any inconsistencies or detects our intentions, he could retaliate."

Barry nodded, understanding the urgency. "We'll have to practice and perfect our roles, ensuring our actions are synchronized. We can't afford any mistakes."

With a newfound determination, the team set to work, each member taking on their assigned tasks. Cisco began modifying the interdimensional portal device, making the necessary adjustments to target the Ape Utopia Earth. Harrison Wells worked on fine-tuning the frequency disruptor, ensuring it would effectively counter Grodd's telepathic abilities.

Caitlin focused on analyzing Grodd's patterns and behaviors, looking for any weaknesses they could exploit during the confrontation. Barry trained rigorously, pushing his speed and reflexes to their limits, preparing himself for the upcoming battle.

Day turned into night as the team honed their skills and fine-tuned their plan. They ran simulations, adjusted their strategies, and analyzed every possible outcome. Their determination and unwavering focus drove them forward, knowing that the safety of the city depended on their success.

Finally, the time of reckoning arrived. The team gathered at the designated location, prepared for the ultimate showdown with Grodd. They wore their equipment and carried the disruptor, ready to put their plan into motion.

Barry looked at his teammates, a mix of determination and apprehension in his eyes. "We've come a long way, but this is our chance to save the city and stop Grodd. Let's do this together."

With a nod of agreement, the team braced themselves for the impending battle, knowing that their coordinated efforts and unwavering resolve would be put to the test. The fate of Central City hung in the balance as they prepared to face the telepathic ape head-on, armed with a plan that could change everything.

Caitlin decided against the team's better judgement to be the bait even though the team were against it, So Jacob wearing The Reverse Flash costume led Grodd to the target location before he said

"I'll be back, I've managed to locate the breach which should be able to take you home. I need to get my final components now, because if i did it before they will know."

Grodd nodded understanding the situation, The speedster then zoomed off leaving the giant primate on his lonesome. It was a quiet night before he got interrupted by a familiar voice "Grodd?" Turning around he saw Caitlin looking at him, "Caitlin." Grodd growled out as he started to approach Caitlin, his massive form loomed over her, his eyes filled with confusion and apprehension. The team, hidden strategically around the area, waited for the perfect moment to strike. The night air crackled with tension, and the scent of impending battle hung in the air.

Suddenly, Barry, as the Flash, blurred into action, darting towards Grodd with lightning speed. He unleashed a barrage of punches, his fists a blur, each strike hitting with the force of a sledgehammer. Grodd, caught off guard by the Flash's initial onslaught, stumbled backward, his mighty frame shaking from the impact.

But Grodd, as a formidable adversary, quickly recovered, his eyes narrowing with fury. With a roar that made the ground quake, he swung his massive arms, creating a shockwave that sent Barry hurtling through the air. The Flash crashed into a nearby building, causing debris to rain down around him.

Not wasting a moment, Blitzshade, in his own suit joined the fight. His movements were fluid and graceful, his speed rivaling that of The Flash's. Blitzshade's lightning-fast kicks and punches blurred in the air, each strike calculated and precise. "Hey Grodd, be a good monkey and I'll give ya a banana eh?" Growling in anoyance Grodd caught Blitzshade's foot by slamming his hands on the ground causing it to shake then catching him."Ape. Not. Monkey." Said Grodd, Blitzshade then asked"Well i did not hear you refusing the banana. So will you be a good ape?" Grodd responded by slamming him on the ground, before tossing him in the direction of The Flash causing them to crash into one another. Both groaning as they started to get up, "REALLY? Making monkey jokes now?" The Flash said exasperated making Blitzshade shrug before he said "Well i have a lot of monkey jokes, but never had a chance to use them. I'm not going to miss my chance to do it. Totally worth it."

The battle intensified as the team, now united, fought together against the towering Grodd. Cisco, armed with his technological genius, unleashed a series of sonic blasts to disorient the primate villain, while Caitlin used her scientific ice gun to create icy constructs, encasing Grodd's limbs and hindering his movements.

With each coordinated attack, the team chipped away at Grodd's defenses, weakening him step by step. Barry, his determination resolute, raced around Grodd in a cyclone of motion, his fists a blur as he landed blow after blow. Jacob, his agility unparalleled, zipped in and out of Grodd's reach, delivering powerful strikes to vulnerable areas.

Grodd, though wounded, fought back with his immense strength. He bellowed in rage, unleashing telekinetic blasts that sent shockwaves rippling through the area. The team, their resolve unshaken, dodged and countered, using their combined powers to mitigate the damage.

Seeing an opening, Caitlin unleashed a powerful blast of freezing energy, encasing Grodd's massive form in a solid block of ice. But the victory was short-lived as Grodd's immense strength shattered the icy prison, sending shards flying in all directions.

With renewed determination, the team gathered their strength and focused on their ultimate plan. Barry, with his unwavering speed, created a vortex around Grodd, trapping him in a swirling whirlwind. The force of the wind disoriented Grodd, making it impossible for him to escape.

Seizing the moment, Cisco activated the modified Speed Force Bazooka, generating a portal leading to the Ape Utopia. The swirling vortex of energy enveloped Grodd, pulling him inexorably towards the portal's center.

Grodd fought against the powerful suction, his muscles straining, but the combined might of the team was too much for him to resist. With a final push, they managed to send Grodd hurtling through the portal just as it closed behind him, leaving only a trail of fading energy.

Breathing heavily, the team stood victorious but exhausted, their bodies and minds tested by the grueling battle. Barry, Jacob, Caitlin, Harrison and Cisco exchanged weary yet triumphant glances
