Searching

When I finally woke up, I could feel Lee's hand on my shoulder and hear the buzzing of his wings in my ears. I moaned as I rolled toward the pixie, sighing heavily as I rubbed my eyes. I felt as if I had just fallen asleep and now he was waking me up again. 

"What?"

"Luc is calling." I reached for my phone as he handed it to me, the vibrations shaking my hand as I accepted it. "Jinx will be here soon with the books, so I'll close your door."

"Thanks." I murmured, waiting until I heard my door close before I double tapped the screen, still refusing to open my eyes. "'Ello?"

"We found the demon." Luc's voice was soft, as if he was whispering and I forced myself to sit up, trying to stifle the yawn that wanted to escape me. Dammit, I was still so tired. "Are you okay?"
