after championship Lily, flitwick along with Alex visited the places in New York and bought some gifts for Harry and James , Alex saw the broaches in a shop and selected a cat broach for Hermoine and a broach containing blue colour stone with swan pattern for Cho and a unicorn pattern broach for Daphne, the broaches look beautiful.

he remembered Cassandra and thought about a gift to her, then he remembered an emerald stone locket with 30% magic regeneration boost, auto-heal and auto-protection he gave to Lily and James before Hogwarts, it will be definitely bring a smile on her face as Cassandra likes green colour ( in the game but Alex observed Cassandra and found the colour on her mainly green, so he confirmed she still liked it even here ).

then they wrap things up stayed in a hotel for that night, the next day a car arrived at the hotel to pick them up and when they got in they saw Cassandra in it and she is looking at Alex with expressionless face , the car drove towards outskirts of city until it arrived at a hillside then the car when into the mountain , they didn't panic as they know about illussion magic by families on their homes used to conceal them.

when passed through it, a mansion appeared in the sight, it look much like potter manor but slightly smaller one, but looks much like a modern villa. when they exited the car and arrived at mansion door, the door opened revealing maids and butlers. they bowed and welcomed them, Alex is surprised how they got this many wizards working in here as servants as there is a spell in the barrier preventing muggles, so he confirmed them as wizards and he could feel faint magic power it's much weaker than students at Hogwarts and confirmed these are squibs or wizards with less magic.

Cassandra walked in with an arrogant expression and smile, Lily, Alex and flitwick followed Cassandra and the vile family who they saw in the championship along with 2 new members welcomed them.

the 2 members introduced themselves as Clara vole sister to the current lord Aron and her husband Daniel vole who works at MACUSA as the head of aurors. flitwick , Alex and Lily introduced themselves, Aron and Evelyn are talking with Lily while flitwick is discussing something with Clara and Daniel, the old man Lauren watched all this and come forward to talk to Alex , they began discussing about his school life while Lauren brought up alchemy, Alex began to discuss about his views on certain products through alchemy and Cassandra who heard him becomes shocked by his prowess in alchemy. even Lauren found it very hard to believe a 11 year old kid is this much knowledgable in alchemy because Alex's knowledge far exceeds his own knowledge on alchemy.

Cassandra is now looking at Alex curiously and noticed the rings on his hand, she felt strong magic fluctuations from those rings when she touched them, Alex glanced towards Cassandra who is touching his hand.

he then observed the look and noticed she is observing the rings. Lauren also noticed Cassandra's behaviour and confused as she is always arrogant and never even glanced at a boy properly.

he coughed and brought Cassandra who is observing the rings looked at Lauren and noticed she is being rude, she then took of her hand and acted like nothing happened. Lauren just sighed and continued to discuss about alchemy, after sometime a butler came and whispered something, Lauren got up and said," I'll be right back mr.Alex, until then Cassandra will show you around the mansion, aren't you dear?".

Cassandra got up and motioned Alex to come along, she started the tour around the mansion by showing him pictures of the ancestors, then some art works and then some products their family is manufacturing and arrived outside to show the garden and her grandfather's car collection, they both sat in the chairs arranged in garden and Cassandra ordered the servants to bring the tea.

Alex and Cassandra talked about spells and alchemy as she is the young lady of vole house, she is also taught alchemy from a young age, she asked about the rings, Alex told he obtained them in Hogwarts and strengthened them, Cassandra asked ," do you know runes and how to strengthen them?". Alex nodded and explained about some amplyfying runes he read in Hogwarts restricted section.

they both chatted and laughed after sharing some experiences on their schools and Alex got up and took out the emerald necklace, Cassandra looked at it with an amused gaze and then gazed at Alex , he came forward and said," this is for you beautiful, may I have the honour to put this on your neck?" , Cassandra blushed and nodded, Alex arrived behind her and put the necklace around her neck, it suits her very much and she could feel her magic recovering fast, she stunned for a moment and asked," is this enchanted with recovery magic?". Alex nodded but Cassandra replied," this is a treasure even among pure bloods why give it to me?".

Alex whispered," it's cause you're beautiful and this looks very good on you ." Cassandra blushed from his words and they both enjoyed the time together until Evelyn called them for lunch.

Aron observed the locket on Cassandra and glanced at Alex, Alex looked towards Aron with confused face as he felt hostility for a second, but Lauren who observed this smirked and didn't say anything. the lunch went well and at airport Cassandra asked Alex to write letters to her before hugging and kissing him on cheek, Lily and flitwick dropped a jaw at this and Aron vole is looking at Alex like he is going rip him to pieces, while Lauren and Evelyn laughed. Alex also stunned for a second before hugging her back and returned the kiss on cheek. before giving the necklace to Cassandra he also enchanted the locket containing the emerald with transmission he learned from seals knowledge , this can pass messages through paired objects, he told Cassandra about this and asked her to communicate with him in these Holidays. he also whispered the messages will only be heard by the owners of the paired objects as they recognised the magic fluctuations from them. this shocked Cassandra and she nodded her head. Aron can't stand anymore and said," you've have a flight to catch and it's getting late". they bid farewell to the vole family, before Alex go to the airport Cassandra gave him a pocket watch and told him to remember her.

after Cassandra watched Alex to enter the terminal, she secretly send a message from the locket using magic it's said," I love you Alex ", Alex felt the glow in the ring and send the magic, " I love you Alex, I'll miss you " , this sounded in his mind and he replied back ," love you too Cassandra, I'll miss you too".

Cassandra who got a positive reply just smiled for a second before returning to her arrogant temperament.
