Horror plastered on Hera's face, eyes wide and vacant. Everyone flying with her couldn't help but stare at her blank expression. They looked at each other, amazed that the woman who had been beating them mentally would wear such a look.
And she only heard two short sentences from the other end of the line.
Those wearing headsets could hear her call. So, they didn't have a choice but to listen to Dominic's response.
"That damn Gray," Hera murmured when she finally recovered. "He's screwing with me."
Despite the noise outside, her voice was clear through their earphones.
"There must be a reason," Tiger said, seated right beside her. "Call him again."
"Do you want to die?" Hera retorted, looking back at him in complete confusion. "You do know we're thousands of feet up in the sky, right? If I kick you out, you're dead."
