"Delilah said she was telling him of her feelings for him, and he got angry with her. I understand that Rafael does not feel the same way, but it didn't call for what happened after," said Rachel, feeling offended that Beatrice questioned what she said when it was true that Rafael put Delilah over his shoulder. 

She thought differently of Rafael, so this disappointed her. Then again, men always had hidden anger. Rafael was not as gentle as everyone painted him to be. At the end of the day, he was still a knight with a temper.

"Rachel, I think of you as a smart woman. Doesn't this story seem odd? Your daughter went to tell my son how much she loved him, and it ended with him forcibly taking her out of his home? Why am I only hearing about my son's actions? Tell the story from the beginning, Delilah. Not missing anything out," Beatrice said, wanting to hear the tale Delilah told her mother.
