They say karma's a bitch, but even I wasn't loose in the head enough to want to take my chances screwing her. Yet, here I was, standing in front of the man I was crazy over, second guessing myself.
He could tell it to Knoxwell, but not to his mate? I know we hadn't known each other for long, neither have I done anything to earn his favor. But, still, there was only so much my pride could take, and right now, I needed some sort of validation, that there was hope for this relationship.
"Kian," I called out flatly, he made a hmm sound in response, keeping his eyes trained on the floor.
"If you let me mark you here and now, I'll forget all about Knoxwell or any of your secrets." My feet walked forward, making his take some steps back, until he was against the door, cornered by me.
Sternly, he retorted, "Don't joke like that, you know my stand on getting…"
